With the last day of AAPI Heritage month on Tuesday, and Pride month staring us right in the face, the Biden White House, ever concerned about America’s growing issues had a special treat in store!
Tuesday Joe and his band of merry idiots hosted K-Pop sensation BTS! Yes, all of those words confuse me as well.
Apparently, BTS is a South Korean (obviously) boy band. My (limited) research also revealed they are quite popular. Cool!
Let’s get the scoop from Fox News:
BTS joined White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre before meeting with President Joe Biden to discuss rising anti-Asian hate crimes in the country on the last day of AAPI Heritage Month Tuesday.
The seven members of the K-Pop band from South Korea were on hand at the lectern of the James Brady Briefing Room, where they condemned the growing trend of hate crimes against the AAPI community, in addition to advocating for the importance of Asian representation.
At one point during the live YouTube broadcast, more than 310,000 viewers tuned into a live stream of the press briefing on the White House’s channel, a stark contrast to the usual 10,000+ viewers averaged on any given press conference. The video has since been uploaded and amassed thousands more views.
So I guess it takes the Korean version of the Backstreet Boys to get this generation interested in politics? If that isn’t an oversimplification, it should be considered scary as hell.
Not to make light of any issues with hate crimes within the AAPI community, as hate crimes against ANY race, white included, should be taken very seriously. However, I wasn’t aware there were rising hate crimes against Asians in America.
Part of me is tempted to think this is propaganda designed to further vilify white people and further divide our country if that’s even possible.
Thanks for having us at the White House! It was a huge honor to discuss important issues with @POTUS today. We’re very grateful for #BTSARMY who made it all possible.🫰💜

Who knows? I just know in my 55 years on this earth, I’ve literally never had a friend, or been in a conversation with ANYONE that is just out to get Asians. Weird, right?
While many of you may know BTS as Grammy-nominated international icons, they also play an important role as youth ambassadors, promoting a message of respect and positivity,”
“After this briefing, they will join President Biden in a discussion about Asian inclusion, representation and diversity, as well as addressing an anti-Asian hate crimes and discrimination. As many of you know, the president has led a historic, whole-of-government approach to combat racism, xenophobia, intolerance, intolerance facing AAPI communities beginning his first week in office, when he issued a presidential memorandum leveraging the power of the federal government to stand against this hate.
She added: “The president also signed the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act into law, signed an executive order to reinstate the White House initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders, and funded critical research to prevent and address xenophobia against AA and NHP communities.”
Good job Joe! While you have failed miserably in every other aspect of your job, at least Asians are safer?
Don’t be misled folks, this is pure optics. This is no different than Hilary Clinton hanging out with Beyonce and Jay Z during the run-up to the 2016 election. Pure pandering at the highest level.
This isn’t to say, if there actually is an Asian hate problem, that it doesn’t need serious attention, but that’s not what having BTS at the White House is about.
No, this is about a senile old white man pandering to a segment of our society he potential might be able to squeeze a couple of extra votes out of in 2024. All on our tax dime btw. I doubt BTS paid for this trip.
Good times in America folks! Pay no attention to your grocery bill, BTS is in town, courtesy of old Joe!
