The Supreme Court Monday decided once again to keep the pro-abortion activists — and those who are pro-life too — sitting on the edge of their seats, awaiting its opinion on the controversial Roe v. Wade decision that is expected to be overturned.
If the justices actually follow the letter of the law in the Constitution, this vile legal decision should be overturned without question, allowing the issue of abortion to go back where it belongs: the states.
This would mean that pro-life groups would be able to amass movements to ensure that the evil practice of murdering the most vulnerable citizens of our nation is banned and even criminalized.
After all, if we can’t protect the unborn and their basic rights, how are we going to defend ours?
Politico leaked a draft opinion last month that seemed to indicate the Supreme Court is on the verge of overturning Roe v. Wade, which is the 1973 case that established a “federal right” to abortion.
For the record, murder is not a God-given “right,” no matter how badly the radical left wants it to be. The eagerness of women in the progressive movement to shed the blood of their own children as sacrifices on the altar of convenience and “sexual liberty” is proof that our culture has been transformed into one that loves death.
“The justices released a handful of decisions Monday, including two immigration-related opinions, but not in the case Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. A ruling is expected to come by either late June or early July,” Fox News reported.
“The decisions issued Monday included: ZF Automotive U. S., Inc. v. Luxshare, Ltd., Denezpi v. United States, Kemp v. United States, a case related to drug and gun crimes, and immigration-related cases Johnson v. Arteaga-Martinez and Garland v. Gonzalez,” Fox stated.
The Dobbs case, which brought the issue of Roe v. Wade up again in the court, comes from a dispute concerning a law in Mississippi that places a ban on abortion after 15 weeks. The case, which was argued in December of last year, is being viewed as the biggest test yet for the new SCOTUS 6-3 GOP-appointed majority and how they will handle hot-button issues.
“As the Supreme Court continues to finalize its ruling in Dobbs and several other cases before its summer recess, the investigation into who leaked the draft opinion by court officials is ongoing,” Fox News reported.
“To the extent this betrayal of the confidences of the Court was intended to undermine the integrity of our operations, it will not succeed. The work of the Court will not be affected in any way,” Chief Justice John Roberts went on to say in a statement released in May.
“This was a singular and egregious breach of that trust that is an affront to the Court and the community of public servants who work here,” he continued. “I have directed the Marshal of the Court to launch an investigation into the source of the leak.”
The leak has led to threats of violence and even death against our Supreme Court Justices, with an armed man attempting to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh last week, and pro-abortion group Ruth Sent Us threatening to target Justice Amy Coney Barrett, her church, and her children for harassment.
This should go without saying, but such threats are totally unacceptable and should not be tolerated. It’s shameful that Democrats in Congress have been slow to respond to the treatment the justices are receiving and have done so very little to protect them from the lunatics they helped create over the last decade.
