A new report straight from TheBlaze has revealed that the FBI, spurred on by Republicans demanding an investigation, have opened up a domestic terrorist extremism probe into the recent attacks that have been launched against pro-life organizations that have come about as the result of a leaked draft opinion indicating the Supreme Court might be overturning Roe v. Wade and turning abortion regulation over to the states.
You know, if people understood the Constitution, they would realize that the Tenth Amendment clearly delineates what the federal government is allowed to regulate, and if something isn’t in that list, the amendment says it falls under the jurisdiction of the states.
Pretty straightforward. Abortion falls under the jurisdiction of the state, not the federal government.
In all honesty, since it’s murder, it should already be banned across the nation.
“The FBI is investigating a series of attacks and threats targeting pregnancy resource centers and faith-based organizations across the country,” the FBI went on to say in a statement that was initially reported by Fox News. “The FBI takes all threats seriously and we continue to work closely with our law enforcement partners and will remain vigilant to protect our communities.”
The statement from the FBI comes about after GOP lawmakers made passionate calls for immediate action to be taken by the Department of Justice to prosecute the violent attacks as acts of domestic terrorism.
“Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) called on Attorney General Merrick Garland to resign Thursday in a letter that blasted the Department of Justice for its perceived inaction after an anarchist terrorist group called Jane’s Revenge claimed responsibility for several attacks against pro-life groups,” TheBlaze reported.
In his letter, Cotton urged the DOJ to investigate a string of firebombing and other acts of vandalism against churches, pro-life pregnancy centers, and other anti-abortion groups in recent weeks. He noted that the anarchist group Jane’s Revenge has taken credit for at least 16 criminal acts targeting pro-life groups and has promised to escalate its campaign of violence,” the report continued.
“Houses of worship and pro-life pregnancy centers are under attack,” Cotton went on to say to Garland in the letter. “The Family Research Council has compiled a list of more than 50 attacks against churches, pro-life pregnancy centers, and other pro-life groups in the past few weeks. A left-wing extremist group called ‘Jane’s Revenge’ has taken credit for many of these attacks, including firebombing and grotesque acts of vandalism.”
Cotton, who has one heck of a backbone, then cited a terrorist threat that was made by radical extremists in the Jane’s Revenge pro-abortion group on Tuesday, where they declared it was “open season” on what they called “anti-choice” groups, going on to promise there would be “increasingly drastic measures” that “may not come in the form of something so easily cleaned up as fire and graffiti.”
“What is the Department of Justice doing to protect Americans from these violent attacks?” Cotton asked in the letter. “At a minimum, you should bring federal charges against the perpetrators, where appropriate, and investigate ‘Jane’s Revenge’ as a domestic terrorist organization,” the senator stated.
“If you are unwilling to protect Americans from these attacks, you should resign—although, in my opinion, you should resign in any case,” Cotton continued.
The senator’s letter also included a list of more than a dozen attacks that have happened against both churches and pro-life organizations that the terrorist group, Jane’s Revenge, has already claimed responsibility for carrying out.
It’s about time that action is taken against the radical left. Liberals should have been on the frontline demanding that these acts of terrorism cease immediately, especially the ones who jumped all over Americans for engaging in the riot at the Capitol last year.
