This last year the threat of contacting COVID-19 has diminished greatly. Moreover, thanks to the experimental vaccines the death rate among seniors (the most vulnerable) has thankfully plummeted.
Yet government bureaucrats continue changing the goal-posts, flip flopping on medical guidelines, and going from one extreme measure to another. Originally the CDC (along with so called medical experts like Doctor Anthony Fauci) were concerned about “flattening the curve”. At the time it was a public health strategy to slow down the spread of the virus and hopefully avoid overloading the healthcare system around the nation.
The guidelines called for practicing social distancing along with maintaining good hygiene habits, such as washing your hands. The strategy thankfully worked, hospitals and other healthcare facilities avoided a catastrophic situation and were provided additional resources and equipment under the Trump administration.
For over a year Americans followed the CDC guidelines faithfully and in many instances gave up their personal civil liberties for the supposed betterment of the country.
However, as the pandemic subsided something curious began to happen. In states controlled by Democrats the government bureaucrats refused to relinquish their grip on the population. Lockdowns on restaurants and eateries became more intense, regardless of the fact that there was no scientific evidence to support those lockdowns.
Governors within blue states became more and more authoritarian; enforcing strict mandates, enacting draconian measures, and making up wherever restrictions suited them.

Ironically the vaccines have become just another partisan football tossed around by the political establishment. No doubt the vaccines proved to be a life-saver among seniors who were most at risk. Thankfully, that population has accepted taking the vaccine even though the vaccines haven’t been approved by the FDA.
With that in mind, many younger individuals are balking at the idea of taking the vaccine which is now setting up what might prove to be a confrontation between the Biden White House and ordinary Americans practicing their Constitutional rights.
In a recent video clip Joe Biden said, “We need to go community by community, neighborhood by neighborhood, oftentimes door-to-door to get help to the remaining people protected from the virus.” However, that preposterous proposal seems more like the government is using COVID-19 as an excuse to create a database of freedom-loving Americans who most likely are conservative and more likely to own firearms.

Moreover, what Biden isn’t saying is how does he know who has taken the vaccine and who hasn’t? Are we to speculate that there must be a list somewhere of people who have or haven’t taken the vaccine? If there is, isn’t that a violation of our First Amendment, not to mention HIPPA privacy?
Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) warned just that on Friday that Biden’s door-to-door proposal may actually be a ruse to eventually seize firearms from law abiding individuals.

Cawthorn explained, “Going door-to-door, to be able to take vaccines to the people. The thing about the mechanisms they would have to build to be able to actually execute that massive of a thing, and then think about what those mechanism could be used for, they could then go door-to-door and take your guns; they could go door-to-door and take your Bibles.”
He added, “Biden campaigned on gun control and his push to institute it began in earnest in March of this year. He has repeatedly asked for a ban on “assault weapons,” on “high capacity” magazines, and for universal background check.”
The Biden administration seems to be exposing the lengths to which Democrats are willing to go when given any amount of power. Whether or not that will come to haunt them in 2022 is still yet to be seen. However, if the number of Americans who are hesitant to get the vaccine is any indication Democrats have overplayed their hand and are about to get smacked with a giant Red Wave.
