For a while now, both pollsters and pundits have been making predictions about a red wave coming our way this November during the midterm elections, basically since the very first day that Joe Biden stepped foot in the Oval Office.
Most of these predictions have been based on the plunging approval ratings of both Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, which are reflective of the poor job the two are doing in governing our great nation. And boy, let me tell you, it’s hard to imagine anyone doing a worse job than these knuckleheads.
However, it seems that there are now some pretty concrete data that supports the predictions, which spells out some bad news for liberals, but will no doubt put Republicans in a very, very good mood.
A report from TheBlaze has revealed a study conducted by the AP uncovered that registered voters have been changing their party registration in favor of Republicans in huge numbers. Out of the 1.7 million registration changes that were considered for the study, over 1 million of them switched from Democrat to Republican.
If this doesn’t put some serious fear into Democrats about the fallout from their radical leftist policies and the damage they are doing to the American people, then nothing will.
“Analysts noted that this phenomenon has occurred throughout the country, from Atlanta to L.A. However, the registration movement in the suburban areas of major swing states is particularly noteworthy, since it indicates that some of the suburban voters who soured on Republicans during the Trump administration have swung back toward the Republican Party,” TheBlaze reported.
According to the information contained in the AP study, “Republicans boosted their share of party changers in 168 of 235 suburban counties AP examined — 72 percent — over the last year, compared with the last years of the Trump era.”
“Suburban counties in states like Ohio, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Florida, Virginia, and Iowa all show a dramatic move away from Democrats and toward Republicans,” the report continued.
Do you know why so many people are switching? Because you shouldn’t have to sell a kidney on the black market in order to put gas in your vehicle to go to work every day. Not to mention the outrageous inflation that has jacked up the prices of basic necessities for daily living. Enough is enough.
In December 2021, FiveThirtyEight stated in a piece that President Biden was able to carry swing states like Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania back during the 2020 presidential election by “by improving on [Hillary] Clinton’s margins in predominantly suburban and exurban counties around big cities like Detroit, Milwaukee and Philadelphia, where more white voters with a college degree backed the Democratic presidential ticket — a trend that was true across the country.”
That trend has flipped around, even in places that were previously Democratic Party strongholds such as Denver and Los Angeles.
“Biden and Democrats are woefully out of touch with the American people, and that’s why voters are flocking to the Republican Party in droves,” RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel said in a comment delivered to the AP, and “American suburbs will trend red for cycles to come” as a result.
With the midterm elections only four months away, the momentum seems to be squarely on the side of the Republicans, thanks to all of the various crises we are currently experiencing. People are fed up with excuses for the baby formula shortage, the drag queen story hour nonsense, and as mentioned above, astronomically high gas prices.
We the people do not want more excuses and blame-shifting. We want solutions. Real ones. And we want our rights preserved as well.
