After a total of three recent police incidents involving her office, Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has come out and stated that she feels leftists have created “an incredibly hostile work environment.”
“It’s a dangerous place to work,” Greene went on to say during an appearance on the Just the News, Not Noise television program on Thursday. This was just a day after a new incident came out concerning how one of the posters hanging outside her office was ripped down and tossed in the trash, which was apparently an action requested by a House Democrat chairwoman.
Does that sound like how an adult handles differences of belief and opinion? No, it most certainly does not. Liberals, when they encounter someone who dares to believe something different on an issue, immediately become inflamed like a fat, juicy, red pimple. The moment you provide pushback on their ideas, they pop, and the pus goes everywhere.
Gross, but true.
According to Just the News, “Greene said all three police episodes involve liberals or Democrats who objected to posters outside her House Longworth Building congressional office that expressed her Christian-based belief that there are only two genders — male and female.”
“They’re creating an incredibly hostile work environment,” Greene continued, stealing a few lines from the language of federal labor law and the #MeToo movement. “They’re creating a workplace environment for me, and they have the entire time, where I don’t feel safe. I’m threatened based on my gender, that I’m a woman, and they’re attacking my religion, my Christianity, my faith. And those are all protected things. And at the same time, no one is held accountable.”
The issues started a few months back when a poster Greene hung outside of her office, which affirms the centuries settled science that only two genders exist, was defaced a total of seven times, usually with stickers featuring religious slogans plastered all over the word “female” on the placards.
In response to this situation, Capitol Police then posted surveillance cameras in the area. Then, in March, local police actually caught the person responsible for defacing the posters. It was none other than Timothy Hysom, the chief of staff for Democratic Rep. Jake Auchincloss from Massachusetts.
Police then made a request or an arrest warrant for Hysom, but the U.S. Attorney’s office, located in Washington D.C., said no back in May, according to available police records. Greene has since filed a complaint against Hysom with the House Ethics Committee.
“Last month, nine members of a television production crew for CBS comic Stephen Colbert were caught trespassing in the Longworth building late at night. At the time of their arrest on charges of unlawful entry, the crew members were filming skits poking fun at congressional Republicans in the vicinity of Greene’s office,” Just the News reported.
“Police video footage showed the team appearing to try to hang a poster outside the Georgia Republican’s door while another films with his phone. Capitol Police say the nine Colbert staffers were warned repeatedly against trespassing before being arrested. Again, the U.S. Attorney’s office declined prosecution, a decision that Capitol Police Chief Tom Manger criticized as ‘unfortunate,’” the report continued.
Once again, just this week, Greene required the assistance of the police after a poster outside her office was ripped down and thrown in the trash inside a men’s bathroom. The poster contained information concerning the Capitol Police’s request for an arrest warrant for Hysom for the childish and illegal stunt of defacing the poster.
“According to a Republican aide on the House Administration Committee, Democrat Committee Chairwoman Zoe Lofgren’s staff ordered the removal of Greene’s poster showing Hysom’s photo. Lofgren did not return a call seeking comment on Thursday,” the Just the News report continued.
Greene went on to state that police have been very gracious in taking action to address all three incidents, which she stated was an example of the elitist disdain liberals have for regular Americans for the beliefs of the Christian faith.
“This is how the Democrats view regular Americans, Christians who share, and hold these beliefs,” she explained. “And this is the same way they would treat them, the way they’re treating me. And it’s absolutely appalling. And it’s a dangerous place to work.”
When Just the News asked Hysom for a comment, he did not respond.
