I really don’t need any more reasons to love Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, but on Tuesday he gave me yet another one, whether I needed it or not.
The ever-popular conservative governor decided to break things down in simplest terms when explaining to the media what can and can’t be taught in classrooms when school kicks off this fall, making sure there’s no confusion they can try and twist around into false narratives to use against him and his administration.
See? That’s why DeSantis is growing in popularity. He’s a man who has a system of values that the vast majority of Americans still believe in and agree with. He also possesses a steel spine, so when the leftists come after him, he stands his ground and refuses to give them what they want.
Be like DeSantis, y’all.
According to a report from The Daily Wire, “DeSantis, who has championed a law aimed at returning to academic basics amid the Left’s increasing emphasis on imposing liberal social mores on children, said it comes down to the three Rs. The Republican governor’s tweet followed a Washington Post article that claimed Florida school officials are ‘plagued by confusion and uncertainty about what a raft of new laws.’ They needn’t be, DeSantis said.”
Yeah, they aren’t plagued by confusion. They just want to raise as much of a stink as possible about the law because they disagree with it and want to see something done about it. It’s pretty plain and simple.
“As students head back to their classrooms this fall, I’m happy to clear up any ‘confusion’ the media may have about appropriate curriculum: ✅ Math, Reading, Writing ❌ CRT, Sexualized Content, Transgender Ideology Florida schools will educate children, not indoctrinate them,” DeSantis posted in an epic tweet.
See? Not confusing at all. DeSantis cleared up the whole matter in one tweet.
Again, this isn’t about the law being confusing. These people want to indoctrinate children with ideology that is confusing and quite frankly, degenerate. Teachers are trying to groom students to accept that sexual deviance is normal and morally permissible. It’s an attempt to undermine the authority of parents and replace them in a child’s life with the state.

Here are a few more details from the Daily Wire report:
In April, DeSantis signed House Bill 7, which, according to an explainer of the bill, stated that Florida education would not include “indoctrinating students with CRT principles such as”:
Members of one race, color, national origin, or sex are morally superior. A person, by virtue of his or her race, color, national origin, or sex is inherently racist, sexist, or oppressive. A person’s moral character or status as either or oppressed is necessarily determined by his or her race, color, national origin, or sex. Such virtues as merit, excellence, hard work, fairness, neutrality, objectivity, and racial colorblindness are racist or sexist.
“No one should be instructed to feel as if they are not equal or shamed because of their race,” DeSantis went on to say. “In Florida, we will not let the far-left woke agenda take over our schools and workplaces. There is no place for indoctrination or discrimination in Florida.”
Nailed it.
