Never before has a former president faced such baseless harassment and attacks by the establishment.
After the FBI staged a surprise raid on Trump’s Mar-A-Lago residence yesterday afternoon, desperately searching for any scrap of undeclared note-paper or crude doodle which the former president failed to declare during his time in office.
Hordes of furious MAGA fans descended on Mar-A-Lago last night to show their support for Trump. The raid was clearly a last-ditched attempt by the establishment to stop Trump from running for president in 2024.
Supporters wearing Trump merchandise and holding signs gathered outside the Floridian mansion. Some camped out in their trucks while many waved ‘Trump 2024’ campaign flags.
One man wore a shirt displaying the words “Biden, not my dictator” while another stood next to a TV reporter waving a “Fake News is CNN” sign.

Meanwhile, Trump released a lengthy statement to condemn the FBI’s actions, calling the raid “unnecessary” and “inappropriate”:
“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents.
“Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before”, he wrote.
“After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate.”
The raid came after numerous other accusations by the FBI that Trump had kept or discarded official White House documents in breach of the Presidential Records Act, although despite their best efforts, little evidence of this has surfaced.
Just hours before FBI agents ransacked Trump’s home, New York Times journalist, Maggie Haberman circulated photographs she claims to show a couple of scraps of note paper with random names scrawled on them in sharpie, floating in a White House toilet while Trump was in office.
This, she said, was evidence that the former president had tried to discard historically important documents during his time in the White House.
But early this morning, Trump delighted fans as he released a campaign-style video on his social media platform, Truth Social hinting that he plans to run for president again in 2024.
The short video will undoubtedly anger the left, as this latest petty attempt to cancel the Donald has, more than likely, failed yet again.
The video begins with white words on a black background with a powerful voice-over by Trump:
“A nation in decline,” appears on the screen and Trump says, “we are a failing nation”. Sounds of a thunderstorm echo in the background.
It cuts to a clip of Trump giving a speech to a large auditorium. He goes on to criticize Biden’s sky-high inflation rates, high energy costs, the reliance on oil from Venezuela and Saudi, disastrous exit from Afghanistan, and the handling of Putin’s war.
“We are a nation that no longer has free of fair press. Fake news is about all you get,” Trump continues.
“We are a nation where free speech is no longer allowed.
The footage then cuts to crowds of people cheering and wearing MAGA hats. The voice-over continues:
“We are going to save our country. There is no mountain we cannot climb. There is no summit we cannot reach. There is no challenge we cannot beat. There is no victory we cannot have.

“We will not bend, we will not break.
“We are Americans and Americans kneel to God and God alone. It is time to start talking about greatness in our country again”.
The words, “the best is yet to come” appear on the screen as the video ends, hinting that Trump will run for president again in 2024 despite the left’s attempts to stop him.
