First Trump was raided by the FBI and now Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani has been named a target of an investigation in the state of Georgia.
On August 17, the former mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani, is scheduled to appear in front of a grand jury in Atlanta, Georgia, in connection with what the prosecution believes was his participation in looking into election integrity allegations in Georgia’s general election results for the year 2020.
According to the Post Millennial, Rudy Giuliani ‘has been informed that he is a target of the criminal investigation that is now taking on in Georgia about meddling in electoral processes. In the latter part of this week, he is going to be testifying in Atlanta.’
Fani Willis, who is the district attorney for Fulton County, is in charge of the inquiry at this time. A judge in Fulton County, Georgia, issued an order on August 9 compelling a former private attorney for Donald Trump to testify in front of a special grand jury.
According to Willis, the scope of her investigation includes “any involvement in violence or threats related to the election’s administration” as well as “solicitation of election fraud, the making of false statements to state and local governmental bodies, conspiracy, racketeering, and violation of oath of office.”
A lawyer for Rudy Giuliani has acknowledged to The New York Times that his client has been identified as a major role in the investigation into the election in Georgia.
.@RudyGiuliani: “They have nothing, it’s just a continuation of Russian collusion, same bunch of liars” at the DOJ.

Back in April of 20221, Giuliani had his home raided. The New York Post had more on the story:
Federal agents raided former Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s Manhattan apartment and office on Wednesday morning, two law enforcement sources briefed on the matter told The Post.
The agents executed a search warrant and seized electronic devices from both locations, one source said. The moves were tied to an investigation into Giuliani’s dealings in Ukraine, according to reports.
A resident of Giuliani’s Upper East Side building on East 66th Street said the doorman described greeting the agents at 6 a.m. and letting them pass when they displayed a search warrant.
The raid marked an escalation in the feds’ probe of the former mayor, who is being investigated over whether he illegally lobbied former President Donald Trump on behalf of officials and oligarchs in Ukraine, according to the New York Times.
The Ukrainian officials were also reportedly helping Giuliani dig up dirt on Trump’s political rivals, including then-Democratic candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
The Department of Justice has made it clear that anyone that has supported Trump after January 6th will be targeted for criminal investigation. Trump’s former Chief Strategist Steve Bannon was also targeted by the DOJ and has since been found guilty of Contempt of Congress.
Rudy Giuliani is being targeted because he led President Trump’s impeachment defense flawlessly!

The raid of Trump and his associates is something the United States used to condemn other nations for doing but now that it’s happening on our own soil the US has lost major credibility.
