There are a lot of leftists knuckleheads in the House of Representatives that I would just be thrilled to see lose their seat this November in what is shaping up to be one of the most important midterm elections in the country’s recent history, but without a doubt, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who represents the 14th District, is in my top five.
While I feel there are a lot of vile, evil, wicked, and characteristically unqualified individuals among the Democratic Party folks serving in the House, AOC really bugs the snot out of my beak because she’s not only a socialist, but a full-blown nincompoop as well.
She’s demonstrated time and time again that she’s not fit to be involved in public service because she fundamentally has no clue how our government works. And yet, she’s been in office for what seems like an eternity. It’s only been two terms, but there’s not been enough alcohol in existence to numb my brain enough to forget all of the idiotic things she’s said, thus it feels a lot longer than that.
It’s time for her to go. Please, for the love of all that is good and right on planet earth, let this fall be the last time we have to see or hear from her publicly for the rest of time. Genuine prayer, folks.
Anyway, the good news is, we now know who AOC’s Republican Party challenger for the midterm is going to be.
According to Just the News, New York businesswoman Tina Forte cinched a victory in the GOP primary Tuesday evening.
Here’s more information from the Bronx Times:
It will be an all-Bronx general election for New York’s 14th Congressional District seat after Throggs Neck native Tina Forte secured the Republican nomination defeating Queens native Desi Joseph Cuellar in a primary by a 67%-31% margin Tuesday.
Forte thanked her Bronx and Queens supporters on Twitter Tuesday night after clinching the nomination, before looking ahead to her general election opponent — Progressive incumbent Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
“New Yorkers will no longer accept high taxes, rising crime, bad schools, and infringements on our freedom,” Forte went on to say in a post she published on Twitter. “AOC has supported the same radical policies ruining New York. Enough is enough.”
“In total, 2,298 votes were cast in the NY-14 primary — there are 29,964 active Republican voters in the district,” the report continued.
What’s aggravating is that many voters are considering Forte to be a longshot because AOC has such a “high-profile” when it comes to both local and national politics. Plus, the district features a large population of registered Democrats. There’s no doubt the businesswoman has her work cut out for her ahead of the election.
But surely folks have woken up to the fact AOC is completely out of her gourd, not just intellectually, but policy wise as well. Remember when she blew the Amazon deal for her district and cost them thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in revenue?
That’s just one of many mistakes made during her two terms in office.
Please, people of the Bronx, I beg you, from the bottom of my heart, don’t let this woman have a third term in the House. You can do better.
A lot better.
