Liberal critics were hoping by writing negative reviews for actor Chris Pratt’s latest television show for Amazon Prime, “The Terminal List,” and writing hit piece after hit piece slamming it as being conservative, pro-America revenge fantasy would make both take Pratt’s career and the show straight down the crapper.
But that’s not what happened. Quite the opposite actually. In fact, once conservatives started hearing all of the fuss, they started tuning into the show, and as it turns out, it’s pretty freaking awesome. Well written, well acted, and well produced. The fact it didn’t have a political agenda shoved into it only served to make the story that much better.
Ever since, fans have been demanding to know if there is going to be a second season of the series. Well, much to the chagrin of liberals, Chris Pratt has some good, albeit cryptic, news for the rabid fans of the show.
Here’s more information from The Daily Wire:
During the 43-year-old actor’s appearance on the “Danger Close” podcast hosted by Former Navy SEAL and “The Terminal List” author Jack Carr, the two talked about the idea of a second season.
Carr would only say “we’ll see” and that there may be some “cool stuff on the horizon being discussed.” But Pratt, who plays Lieutenant Commander James Reece in the hit Amazon psychological thriller series, definitely went further.
“To the rabid fans of ‘The Terminal List’ out there, you have nothing to worry about,” the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star shared. “We love you and we appreciate your support.”
“It’s our life’s mission to make sure you can come back to the well,” he went on to say. “And so we’re working away.”
The description for the show on IMDB reveals the plot of the series involves a “former Navy SEAL officer” who “investigates why his entire platoon was ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission.”
Carr, the author of the series, came out recently and reacted to the “triggered critics” who smashed on the show, stating it wasn’t made for them. And that’s the perfect response to these people. Letting them know the vast majority of us in this country really don’t care what they have to say about something. We can make up our own minds.
“We didn’t make it for the critics,” Carr stated in his response to the criticism. “We made it for those in the arena. We made it for the soldier, sailor, airman, and Marine that went downrange to Iraq and Afghanistan, so they could sit on the couch and say, ‘Hey, these guys put in the work. They put in the effort to make something special and make a show that speaks to them.’”
Hollywood has become nothing more than another propaganda machine for the left, which is sad given its roots. However, the people in our culture are starting to say enough is enough, demanding that rabid lefties stop shoving progressive principles down their throat in every movie and show they pump out.
If the entertainment industry wants to remain afloat, they better start listening to their customers.
