Immigrants Aren’t Just for Dem Votes; Pelosi Says They Are Needed To ‘Pick Our Crops’ Too

Nancy Pelosi is the gift that keeps on giving, isn’t she? Not a good gift, mind you. She’s more like the dusty old Mother’s Day gift that Clark Griswold pulls out of the attic beams when he is stuck up there in “Christmas Vacation”. Except more racist and harder to watch. Pelosi is indicative of everything wrong with Washington right now. She is a wealthy, old, elitist white woman with no sense of how the real world works or how actual middle-class people live, but she is happy to tell all of us how we SHOULD live. Makes sense, right?

All Nancy is concerned with is keeping power and building wealth. How better to do that than in her position as Speaker of the House and resident inside trader? And veggies. Nancy apparently really loves her veggies. So much so that on Friday while talking about immigration reform, she made some classic “Grandma Vodka” statements about Florida, crops, and immigrants. Check this out from Fox News:

Yes, she really said that.

Now listen, breaks over, you fells get your butts back to work. No more lounging around with the Obama’s in Martha’s Vineyard.

I suspect after a couple weeks in DC, Chicago or New York, many of these folks would welcome a field in Florida versus a bullet in Chicago. Not to mention the winters.

Pelosi was asked about whether the southern border is secure, and responded by saying that while “we have a responsibility to secure our border, we also have a responsibility to recognize the importance of newcomers to our nation.”

“Right now, the best thing that we can do for our economy is comprehensive immigration reform,” she said. Democratic proposals for such reform typically include sweeping amnesties for illegal immigrants already in the U.S.

Tell me the border isn’t secure, WITHOUT telling me the border isn’t secure Nancy. Despite the assertion by border Czar kamala Harris that it’s on lockdown, Pelosi danced around actually calling it secure. Considering Pelosi’s age, that dance was probably the “Charleston.”

Sweeping amnesty is the Democrat’s ultimate dream. A bump to the voting base for Dems that the Republicans would likely never be able to overcome. If that happens, we will be caught in this hellscape cycle forever.

Pelosi went on to address the economic impact, in terms of workers needed, by shamefully suggesting illegal immigrants need to be kept in Florida so they can pick our crops.

“We have a shortage of workers in our country, and you see even in Florida, some of the farmers and the growers saying, ‘Why are you shipping these immigrants up North? We need them to pick the crops down here,’” she said.

These people are not cattle, nor are they pawns to use for our leisure. If Florida farmers are short of help, the solution isn’t to pay illegal immigrants under the table, and certainly shouldn’t be endorsed by Nancy Pelosi. What she is suggesting is against the law, and helps growers avoid things like payroll taxes while the middle class is facing looming tax hikes.

The truth is this administration has completely dropped the ball at the border and left Republican Governors and the American taxpayer to clean it up. Now that Republicans are making a point, Democrats want those dirty immigrants put back where they belong, in the fields in Florida picking Nancy her veggies. That is not how you fix the border or immigration.
