Actor Mark Wahlberg is leaving Hollywood for safer and greener pastures, joining the likes of Matthew McConaughy. Wahlberg, who attributes “all of his accomplishments” to his Catholic faith, undoubtedly shares our curiosity about how anyone might survive in Gavin Newsom’s hellhole.
It is more surprising how anyone stays in the face of rife crime, homelessness, taxation, and eco-communist policies than that anyone departs.
In an attempt to provide his children with a better life and the chance to work in news, Wahlberg declared in a YouTube vlog that he would be moving across state lines and establishing Nevada as his new home.
“That is the biggest challenge, every free moment that I have, I’m at home,” the actor said. “I moved to Nevada where after this gubernatorial election, hopefully it will go to legislation and get a bill passed so we can get a tax credit for the state and build a state-of-the-art studio here and make this Hollywood 2.0.
“I want to be able to work from home,” he continued. “I moved to California many years ago to pursue acting and I’ve only made a couple of movies in the entire time that I was there. So, to be able to give my kids a better life and follow and pursue their dreams whether it be my daughter as an equestrian, my son as a basketball player, my younger son as a golfer, this made a lot more sense for us.”
“To go and to hopefully build a studio as well as a shoe factory and a factory for Municipal. So, we came here to just kind of give ourselves a new look, a fresh start for the kids, and there’s lot of opportunity here.”
“I’m really excited about the future,” he finished.
According to prior rumors, Wahlberg listed his opulent Beverly Park property in April of last year for a cool $87.5 million. He paid just over $8 million for the property, according to Yahoo!, and then erected a massive 12-bedroom, 20-bathroom home on the six-acre site.

Wahlberg co-starred in the movie Father Stu this year, giving him the opportunity to publicly express his steadfast faith for the first time. He collaborated with Hallow, the most popular Catholic app in the world, at the same time as the album’s release. Fox Business wrote last April:
Hallow, the most downloaded and used Catholic app in the world, has released a new series of resources in conjunction with the actor’s newest film, “Father Stu,” which hits theaters Wednesday. Wahlberg put his own money into producing the movie that is based on the true story of Fr. Stuart Long, a boxer-turned-priest. co-starring Mel Gibson.
Although Wahlberg is a devout Catholic and has not shied away from sharing his faith, “Father Stu” is his first religious project. So when the founders of Hallow – who are big fans of Wahlberg – heard about it, they reached out to him to find out how they could help folks discover the movie while more broadly helping people build a habit of daily prayer.
