When we think of political prisoners being brutally beaten, stripped, hogtied and humiliated, it’s usually in a filthy, cold and dank cell somewhere in a totalitarian communist régime like North Korea, China or Russia.
We never would consider that the brutal treatment of nonviolent political detainees could happen within America. Yet right here in our nation’s Capitol good men are currently being brutalized by Washington D.C. jail guards.
Right alongside walls adorned by inspirational monuments and emblazoned with words that speak of one’s “inalienable rights.”
That explosive information was about to be revealed publicly on Tuesday by a handful of GOP lawmakers during a scheduled news conference. Unfortunately, a group of potentially violent thugs appeared on the scene forcing the press conference to abruptly shut down.
Lawmakers Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Paul Gosar, and Louie Gohmert had gathered outside the Department of Justice in D.C. to demand a status report on individuals being held in prison following the January 6th Capitol breach.

The concerned group of legislators where there to seek information regarding reports of mistreatment of non-violent protesters, some kept in solitary confinement for almost 7-months. Little information has been shared by the JOD on their physical and mental condition. Congressman Gohmert, an experienced defense attorney, stated he was there simply to defend “due process.”
“I’m here just to try to see that due process is done and I’m pleased to be standing with other concerned people from Congress about what is happening,” stated the Texas lawmaker. “Are we housing political prisoners? We need to know the answers.”
Congresswoman Taylor-Greene also expressed concern based on intelligence reports months in advance of the event, that no one had the foresight to beef-up security before the January 6th demonstrations.
“And I have to tell you, as a freshman member of Congress that was the fourth day on my job January 6, I was absolutely shocked at what happened at the capitol,” she stated. “And even more so I am shocked that with the intelligence that there was going to be violence that the National Guard was not present on January 6.”
However, before the lawmakers could provide evidence of abuse a group of thugs suddenly appeared shouting and heckling the lawmakers who immediately felt threatened by their aggressive behavior when they came too close to the legislators. The press conference quickly ended for the safety of the group and all who attended.
It’s not clear whether these thugs who disrupted the press conference were individuals acted spontaneously or a well coordinated effort by the government to surprise the lawmakers from exposing what is taking place within those prison walls hidden beneath the bowels of our nation’s Capitol.
While the mainstream media ignores and refuses to investigate the substantiated leaks of guards randomly beating non-violent detainees, Conservative news outlets like the OAN and Newsmax are getting the word out.
Recently Attorney Joseph McBride who represents Richard Barnett appeared on Newsmax with host Greg Kelly to discuss the abuse that has taken place against those political prisoners. His account should shock us all!
Joseph McBride: “What I can say about the Jan. 6 protesters who remain incarcerated or detained at this point, is that their constitutional rights and human rights are being violated by the Department of Justice and the Federal Government at this very moment. The law is clear that no type of punishment is appropriate for a detainee. Despite that numerous detainees are being held in solitary confinement for long periods of time. They’re being denied medical care. They’re taking beatings. They’re being denied sleep. They’re being psychologically, emotionally, and physically tortured on a regular basis.”

Greg Kelly: “Hold on a second. Who’s beating them up?”
McBride: “I am alleging that the guards are beating them up, the staff are beating prisoners on a regular basis and have been doing so for a long time. This is no exaggeration.”
