Yet another example of radical left-wing hypocrisy has emerged as it turns out Attorney General Merrick Garland, a man who has seemingly had an axe to grind against former President Donald Trump and his supporters, named a special counsel to look into the classified documents found at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, but did not do so for President Joe Biden, despite the same kind of documents being discovered just two weeks prior at the Penn Biden Center.
It’s absolutely disgusting how liberals create one set of standards to apply to conservatives, but turn around and have a different one for the folks on their side of the aisle. This is a smaller picture of how they want to do things on the national level in our society. If they have their way, there will be one set of rules and laws for us, the lowly people, and a completely different set for the “elites” calling all the shots.
According to Breitbart, “On November 18, Garland named former federal prosecutor Jack Smith special counsel for two probes by the Department of Justice of Trump. About two weeks prior, on November 2, Biden’s classified documents were reportedly unearthed at Biden’s so-called “think tank,” the Penn Biden Center, by the president’s attorney.”
The timeline of events suggests that AG Garland appointed a special counsel to look into the situation with Trump, who is looking to potentially be Biden’s political opponent in 2024, for supposedly mishandling classified documents, all the while knowing that Biden might have committed the same exact violation.
What do you need, at this point, to convince you the raid on Trump’s property and the special counsel were nothing more than politically motivated attacks designed to disqualify Trump from being able to run for president in 2024? It’s obvious that’s the reasoning behind all of this.
“Garland could have known about Biden’s mishandling of documents just six days before the midterm elections. Critics say Garland’s decision to not disclose to revelations before January was a political calculation to benefit Democrats in the midterms,” the report continued. “Biden has claimed he did not know classified documents were stashed at the Penn Biden Center, but Mike Davis, founder and president of the pro-Trump Article III Project, called Biden’s claim ‘nonsense.'”
“Biden moved these stolen classified records twice: a. Before January 20, 2017 (left White House) b. After moving into new office in February 2018,” he posted in a tweet. “Biden had these stolen classified records in his personal files. Garland must appoint a Special Counsel.”
In September, Joe Biden was asked about the classified documents at Mar-a-Lago.
He said he didn't know "how anyone could be that irresponsible" and questioned "what data was in there that may compromise sources and methods?" pic.twitter.com/jvw8FcBZZj

When all of this junk with the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago went down, Biden made an appearance on “60 Minutes,” where he called Trump’s handling of these documents “irresponsible.”
“How that could possibly happen? How anyone could be that irresponsible,” the president went on to say during the interview. “And it just — totally irresponsible.”
“And I thought, what data was in there that may compromise sources and methods?” Biden continued.
The condemnation of Trump by Biden has led to several of his critics noting that when then-Vice President Joe Biden did not have any sort of legal authority to declassify documents, while Trump did have that authority as the president. Just a little something extra to think about in this developing situation.
“Vice presidents cannot declassify documents. And the fact that Joe Biden is in possession of classified documents when he was vice president, signals we need to have a serious investigation into this,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said during a conversation with C-SPAN.
