Actress Pamela Anderson, whose main claim to fame is being married to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee and creating a sex tape with him that exploded all over the place during the early days of the Internet, is doubling down on creepy allegations against her former Home Improvement co-star Tim Allen. Keep in mind that Anderson has a new memoir coming out, so yeah, she’s definitely looking to sell some books.
In the new book, according to TheBlaze, Anderson makes the claim that during her first day on the set of the show, Allen exposed himself to her. She then suggested the reason Allen did this was because she had appeared in an issue of Playboy magazine. Again, this all written about in her book. A book that just recently came out. Pointing that out again for reasons the reader has probably already grasped.
Anderson said in the new memoir, “On the first day of filming, I walked out of my dressing room, and Tim was in the hallway in his robe. He opened his robe and flashed me quickly — completely naked underneath. He said it was only fair, because he had seen me naked. Now we’re even. I laughed uncomfortably.”
Anderson, whose role on the show was minuscule, was only 23-years-old at the time the alleged incident took place. Allen was 37.
Allen himself has denied this incident ever happened, saying, “No, it never happened. I would never do such a thing,” later going on to suggest that Anderson’s memory is faulty.
The famous bride of Tommy Lee then spoke with “ET Canada,” where she stated during her interview that Allen was forced to deny what she said as being true because if he admitted to doing that it would cause serious backlash against him.
“He has to deny it because look at the times we’re in. If he said, ‘Oh yeah, I did that…’ he’d be — a lot of these stories are just the tip of the iceberg,” she replied during the interview.
“Anderson also denied making it up — in fact, she suggested that such a story could not be made up — and said she put her allegation in the book because ‘Home Improvement’ was her first significant acting job and she believed it was an ‘important’ story to tell,” TheBlaze reported.
In a different interview the actress conducted with Variety last month, Anderson seemingly defended Allen. Kind of seems like she’s going back and forth a lot, doesn’t it? If she were really that offended by the situation, if it actually happened, why come out and sort of defend the actor?
“Tim is a comedian, it’s his job to cross the line. I’m sure he had no bad intentions,” she commented. “Times have changed, though. I doubt anyone would try that post-#MeToo. It’s a new world.”
Out of all of the material in the book, why did she choose to tell the Tim Allen story? Think about it for a minute. Allen is known for espousing conservative views. That has made him a relevant target for a lot of leftists. Along comes Pam Anderson who hasn’t been relevant in the public spotlight in years, who has a book to sell and the only way she can do that is to get some attention.
Boom.
Not saying that’s what happened, but it certainly is a plausible theory, wouldn’t you agree?
