China made allegations against the United States in light of shooting down one of their spy balloons over our country a week ago, stating that the U.S. flies spy balloons over their nation all the time. The government responded to those allegations by saying those accusations are totally false. You know, I don’t trust our government as far as I could throw a sumo wrestler, but I surely don’t, even a little bit, believe a single word coming out of the mouth of someone who works for the Chinese Communist Party.
According to The Daily Wire, the allegations come after the United States shot down a spy balloon — or what is suspected to be one — off the coast of South Carolina on Feb. 4, along with several unidentified objects over Alaska, Canada, and Lake Huron over the course of the weekend. Yeah, there’s something fishy going on here. Is this China flexing muscle against us? If so, the lackluster response and the ease with which they invaded our airspace is an alarming show of weakness on behalf of the current administration.
“It is also common for U.S. balloons to illegally enter the airspace of other countries,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin went on to say. “Since last year, U.S. high-altitude balloons have illegally flown over China’s airspace more than 10 times without the approval of Chinese authorities.”
A report published by the Associated Press pointed out that Wang did not provide any details that substantiate his claims and would not state how the alleged incursions happened of they were in any way connected to the American government.
“National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson said that the communist nation’s claims were a lie and that China was trying to deflect from the embarrassing situation they have caused,” the report continued.
“It is China that has a high-altitude surveillance balloon program for intelligence collection, connected to the People’s Liberation Army, that it has used to violate the sovereignty of the United States and over 40 countries across five continents,” Watson posted in a tweet.
“This is the latest example of China scrambling to do damage control,” she added. “It has repeatedly and wrongly claimed the surveillance balloon it sent over the United States was a weather balloon and to this day has failed to offer any credible explanations for its intrusion into our airspace and the airspace of others.”

John Kirby of the National Security Council came out and totally rejected the communist country’s claims while conducting an interview on MSNBC Monday morning.

“The U.S. government responded to the Chinese spy balloon by sanctioning six Chinese aerospace companies over their purported involvement in the country’s spy balloon program,” the Daily Wire added.
Less than a week after the balloon was shot down, the Commerce Department has issued sanctions.
“The PRC’s [People’s Republic of China] use of high-altitude balloons violates our sovereignty and threatens U.S. national security,” Alan Estevez, undersecretary of commerce for industry and security, revealed in a statement. “Today’s action makes clear that entities that seek to harm U.S. national security and sovereignty will be cut off from accessing U.S. technologies.”
The question that needs to be answered right now concerns the origins of the objects that were shot down this past weekend. Do these belong to China? Russia? Look how easily these balloons could have dropped a virus or a potential nuclear weapon. That’s terrifying. We need to tighten up our security ASAP. That shouldn’t even be up for debate.
