The Don Lemon story continues to get weirder as the failing legacy media anchor was absent again Monday from “CNN This Morning”. As the tens of viewers wonder what’s up, CNN scrambles to make excuses for Lemons bizarre, sour behavior. After making some ill-advised comments about Nikki Haley and insulting women everywhere, Lemon appeared to have been temporarily shelved by CNN. Now the network is making lame excuses. Check this out.
Legacy media anchor Don Lemon won’t appear on “CNN This Morning” on Monday after saying that 51-year-old Republican presidential hopeful Nikki Haley wasn’t “in her prime” following her 2024 White House bid last week.
Lemon had initially appeared on the schedule to anchor the show with co-hosts Poppy Harlow and Kaitlan Collins. However, according to a copy of the CNN anchor schedule obtained and reviewed by Confider, officials at the network appear to have benched Lemon. Instead, they will have Sara Snider anchoring with Harlow in New York and Collins in Poland.

Perhaps Lemon would feel more comfortable in Poland as opposed to New York. A change of scenery might do him some good. His actions since being demoted from his dismal primetime show suggests his bitterness isn’t going away anytime soon.
DailyMail.com reported last week that inside sources described Lemon as “rude, self-righteous and clearly sexist” to the news outlet, adding that “his apology meant nothing.”
“Don has been skating on thin ice for so long, and many wanted him fired in December when he freaked out on Kaitlin Collins for no reason,” the sources said. “She was in tears, and it was so inappropriate.”
Lemon reportedly left Collins “rattled” on the set of “This Morning” on December 8 after he allegedly blew up at her once the show was over because she had interrupted him on air.
Lemon clearly needs some time off to reset his arrogance meter and realize he isn’t important enough to act like he does. After all, since joining “This Morning”, the show has performed dismally, averaging a paltry 330,000 viewers. It also seems clear that Don has a problem with women. Particularly strong, outspoken white women. Based on his misplaced comments about Haley and his subsequent weak-ass apology, Lemon might need more than a little time off. Instead, CNN is blaming an exhausting weekend of hiding from the paparazzi for Lemon not being on air Monday.
“He is taking the holiday. He’s been chased by paparazzi all weekend,” the spokesperson said. “He’s been under attack. He’s not ready to go back on air.”
Poor Don Lemon. He is such a victim! It’s nice of CNN to give him an extra day off to rest and recoup from the one or two paparazzi that tried to photograph him. Or maybe it was just a couple of confused tourists with camera phones that thought he looked like someone familiar. Maybe his buddy Jussie Smollett?
Don Lemon has pushed misinformation, disinformation, conspiracy theories and fake news during the entirety of his tenure at CNN. Most sane people know what he and CNN are, and we know to take literally everything they report with the entire block of salt as opposed to a grain. However, most of us would have been fired long ago for the way Lemon has been allegedly conducting himself on air, and for the misogynistic, partisan slam on Nikki Haley. It’s doubtful that an extra day off is going to reset hid d-bag meter, but at least it’s one more day that all 8 viewers don’t have to look at him.
