Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, who is the current host of a very popular podcast show, and a mother to a nine-year-old, wasted no time obliterating radical left-wing gun control nuts after the horrific Nashville Christian school shooting carried out by a transgender woman who identified as a male ended with three dead nine-year-old children.
President Joe Biden, like the vast majority of the scummy Democratic Party, immediately came out and used the occasion to call for the implementation of strict gun control measures that would clearly violate the Second Amendment, slamming the GOP by saying, “Those children should all be with us still. … Everybody thinks somehow the Second Amendment is absolute! You’re not allowed to go out and own an automatic weapon. You’re not allowed to own a machine gun. You’re not allowed to own a flamethrower. You’re not allowed to own so many other things. Why in God’s name do we allow these weapons in our streets and at our schools? … I want you to know who isn’t doing it [supporting gun control], who isn’t helping, to put pressure on them.”
“Three nine-year-olds were shot down yesterday by one sick person in addition to the three school administrators,” Kelly kicked things off on her SiriusXM radio program, according to the Daily Wire.
“There’s something wrong with our society, and I for one am f***ing sick of the knee jerk — ‘It’s the guns. Get the guns,’” she proclaimed. “We have 330 million guns, maybe over 400 million by some counts in America. They’re not going away. We could do an assault weapons ban tomorrow. They’re not going away. All right? We have to take a serious, honest look at what’s wrong with us.”
“We can take a look at what’s going on in the case of this particular woman — trans person, she’s a biological woman — and figure out what made this person crack,” she then supposed. “But we go through this every time. We try to figure out the issues that led to this person to do it or that person to do it, and then we change nothing. Okay? We change nothing.”
Kelly, who was rightfully ticked off, then moved into discussing a proactive approach to the issue that she believes should be taken, saying, “And I realize it’s a big country and it’s a free country and you’re never gonna be able to stop them all. But that shouldn’t lead to just the constant shoulder shrugs. I for one, think we really need to take a hard look at, yes, mental health, and also institutionalization. Institutionalization. We need to make it easier to civilly commit people who are showing signs, red flags, that they may be the next school shooter.”
“I don’t know whether they were present in this case; the police haven’t released that; we’ll find out more in the days to come,” she stated in conclusion.
One thing is for sure. Banning guns or slapping them with strict gun control measures will not solve the problem of violent people doing violent things to innocent people. It will just force these psychopaths to be more creative. That’s it. I mean what, exactly, would gun control laws do? Murder is already illegal. So is shooting someone without just cause, such as self-defense. Those laws did not stop this horrible human being from killing children.
You have to address the core of the problem and that’s human evil and sin. Those two things are at the real root of this issue, and only God can fix those. But we’ve removed Him from every facet of public life, so where are troubled people supposed to turn? Really doesn’t seem like the psychiatric field is doing a whole lot of good here, does it?
