The Joe Biden White House misses the point. A lot. From the economy to foreign policy, Joe and his cast of clowns are like Keystone Cops.
However, one would think they wouldn’t be able to screw up inviting the NCAA Women’s champion to the White House. Think again!
In what was an epic ladies tournament that generated attention that women’s basketball has never seen, the LSU Tigers triumphed over the Iowa Hawkeyes and Caitlin Clark in a championship game that was fetching higher ticket prices than their male counterparts. So, what do the geniuses in the White House do? Invite both teams! Way to go Dr Jill! Check this out.
While speaking at the Colorado state capital in Denver on Monday, the First Lady praised Iowa’s sportsmanship in their national championship loss and praised both teams for their performance. Had she left it there, it would have been one thing.
But she didn’t leave it there.
Jill Biden suggested that she would speak to her husband about bringing the Hawkeyes — who did not win the game — to the White House alongside the Bayou Bengals — who won the game.
Disrespectful? Yes. Tone deaf? Of course. So, how does such a knucklehead idea set with the Lady Tigers? Not well as you would imagine.
🤣🤣🤣A JOKE. https://t.co/9SiOKQNqbj

Angel Reese thinks it’s a joke that Jill Biden would invite the national runners-up to the White House alongside the Women’s NCAA Tournament Champions. The LSU star said so herself.
Reese, who is at the center of a back-and-forth within the media, couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw Jill Biden’s remarks. Her response made it very clear how she feels about the pseudo Iowa invite.
As Ricky Bobby famously said, “second place is the first loser”. While that may sound silly, it technically is true. We have become a nation that celebrates mediocrity. It’s not that second is mediocre, even in women’s basketball. Clark and her teammates captivated a country that largely dismisses women’s basketball, so they acquitted themselves admirably. However, they didn’t win. Period.
To extend an invitation to the losing team is to completely undermine everything the LSU Tigers worked for. But then again, the Biden administration has worked to undermine women at every turn. From honoring fake women with medals and accolades, to pledging to protect biological men in women’s sports, the Biden White House has been no friend to the female athlete.
“I know we’ll have the champions come to the White House, we always do. So, we hope LSU will come. But, you know, I’m going to tell Joe I think Iowa should come, too, because they played such a good game.”
The absurdity of the First Lady saying she is going to tell the president to do anything is embarrassing at best, and emblematic of what our problem is right now at worst. Jill Biden likely runs Joe Biden’s business, and if Iowa gets an invite to the White House, we will for sure know who the true president is. Congrats to both teams for being the best in sports, especially when real women need the attention, however there is only one winner. Anything more is not acceptable.
