Actress Jane Fonda is completely out of her gourd.
Fonda, a radical progressive actress who hasn’t been relevant to the entertainment industry in decades, continues to go further and further left — is that even possible at this stage? — adding to the long list of evidence that she is completely insane the belief that the so-called “climate crisis” that has all of humanity allegedly on the edge of extinction, is the fault of white men and as a result, they should be tossed in the clink.
Welcome to Clown World, ladies and gentlemen.
The remarks were made during Fonda’s appearance at the Cannes Film Festival.
“This is serious,” Fonda stated, according to a report from Outkick. “We’ve got about seven, eight years to cut ourselves in half of what we use of fossil fuels. … Unfortunately, the people that have the least responsibility for it are hit the hardest — Global South, people on islands, poor people of color. It is a tragedy that we have to absolutely stop. We have to arrest and jail those men — they’re all men [behind this].”
“It’s good for us all to realize there would be no climate crisis if there was no racism,” she added, according to The Daily Wire. “There would be no climate crisis if there was no patriarchy. A mindset that sees things in a hierarchical way. White men are the things that matter and then everything else [is] at the bottom.”
“You can take anything, racism, sexism, misogyny, homophobia, whatever, the war; if you really get into it and study it, and learn about it and the history of it, everything’s connected. There’d be no climate crisis if it wasn’t for racism,” the actress exclaimed.
Fonda has a very lengthy history as an extreme left-wing activist, dating all the way back to when she slammed Vietnam prisoners of war returning to the U.S. as “hypocrites and liars.” The support she seemingly rendered unto the Communist forces of North Vietnam earned her the nickname, “Hanoi Jane.”
“These were not men who had been tortured. These were not men who had been starved. These were not men who had been brainwashed. … Pilots were saying it was the policy of the Vietnamese and that it was systematic. I believe that’s a lie,” the moronic Fonda spewed at the time.
During the Vietnam War, she actually posed with members of the Viet Cong. To put it mildly, Fonda is a complete and utter traitor.
Back in 2019, the actress said that those who are responsible for this so-called “crisis” are “climate criminals” who should be treated on par with Nazi war criminals. That’s how mentally unhinged Fonda has become over the decades since her career launched.
Here’s more from the DW:
As Karen Townsend of Hot Air reported, in an interview with Michael Moynihan on Viceland’s “The Impeachment Show,” Fonda asserted that oil executives and enabling politicians “should all be tried for crimes against humanity and nature,” prompting Moynihan to ask, “So, you want to see sort of a Nuremberg trial for climate criminals?” Fonda replied, “Yeah, I would.”
Moynihan went on to ask the actress, “You said Congress is bought off by the fossil fuel industry. If that is true, and that is true of the man in the White House is the same, what do we do? Where do we go from here?”
“Well, we get rid of them,” Fonda replied.
“How do we do that?” Moynihan followed up.
“It’s too late now for moderation,” Fonda said. “Because of the fossil fuel industry, we have to elect people who are very brave because what they have to do, what we have to do, what we have to make them do is unprecedented. … I think that democracy is teetering on the edge of collapse … that’s why we need to go into the streets. Our government is being ruled by fossil fuel. That’s a fact that can be proven. The war are being fought for oil. Our men and women are being killed and maimed, wounded psychologically and physically because of oil. I mean, they should all be tried for crimes against humanity and nature.”
When asked who she would like to see put on trial, Hanoi Jane said the folks who are running the fossil fuel industry and politicians who haven’t taken a stand against them.
She was then asked by Moynihan if she wanted to see these individuals have their own modern version of the Nuremberg trials, to which she answered in the affirmative.
