According to Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, a Republican, former President Donald Trump will end up being indicted by a very angry Attorney General Merrick Garland in what will no doubt be a politically motivated attempt to take out President Joe Biden’s political enemies ahead of the 2024 election. Cruz is a smart guy. Very observant. Not to mention he has the whole Constitution committed to memory. Meanwhile, I can’t remember where I put my keys this morning.
In other words, he probably knows what he’s talking about.
“In making the prediction, Cruz argued Attorney General Merrick Garland has a personal score to settle, motivated in part by a hatred of Trump as well as bitterness toward Republicans after they denied him the opportunity to serve on the Supreme Court years ago in a Senate confirmation standoff,” the Daily Wire stated in a recent report.
“Mark my words: I believe Merrick Garland will indict Donald Trump,” Cruz went on to say during a conversation with Fox News host Sean Hannity. “He wants to indict Donald Trump because he hates Donald Trump. He hates him. He’s angry. Merrick Garland is angry that he wasn’t confirmed to the Supreme Court.”
🚨Ted Cruz drops CHILLING prediction of Trump INDICTMENT by Biden DOJ: "Mark my words: I believe Merrick Garland will INDICT Donald Trump."

Lawyers representing the former president paid the DOJ a visit this week as Jack Smith, the special counsel appointed to the investigation, wraps up his investigation and makes a decision about charging Trump concerning the storage of classified documentation and obstruction of justice by resisting the efforts of the federal government to retrieve the materials.
Trump has thus far denied any wrongdoing, stating that he declassified the documents that he took with him as he left office. The president has the right to do that, by the way.
“Cruz reasoned that Garland’s DOJ would focus on pursuing trumped-up obstruction charges because investigators found other top executives, including President Joe Biden and former Vice President Mike Pence, improperly had classified documents in their possession after leaving office,” the report added.
“Mind you, he’s not saying the underlying classified documents were a crime because he’d have to indict Joe Biden too,” the Texas Republican said. “He’s going to instead create a crime about a noncrime. That’s going to be the basis of the indictment.”
Despite having gone at each other’s throats back during the 2016 GOP election for the presidential nomination, Cruz has become a very important ally of Trump’s.
Cruz, who is serving as a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, which has jurisdiction over the DOJ, went on to say that Garland is responsible for corrupting the agency, along with the FBI, which serves as its law enforcement arm. He then discussed how the DOJ would try to act like it was being fair, politically, by also issuing an indictment for President Biden’s son, Hunter, while largely turning away from the allegations of corruption that the president himself, along with various members of his family, are currently facing.
“He will do it on purely personal matters,” Cruz remarked, speaking of Garland, “dealing with drugs and guns and tax issues for Hunter that have nothing to do with Joe Biden because this DOJ wants to protect and insulate Joe Biden and the Biden family’s corruption and they want to use Hunter Biden as a scapegoat to justify targeting Donald Trump.”
