Republican Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan absolutely brutalized Texas Democrat Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, mocking her questioning to Department of Justice Special Counsel John Durham during a hearing on Tuesday before the Weaponization Committee. And she deserved every bit of what she received. It’s nice to have folks in Congress who are willing to make fun of the nonsense that comes out of the radical left these days.
“Jackson Lee questioned Durham on communicating with former Attorney General Bill Barr and one of his top deputies via text message. Jordan, who serves as the committee chairman, declared her time had expired and mocked her for the questioning in the middle of the hearing,” the Daily Caller said.
“I think this is amazing, Mr. Durham. You had eight text messages with the Attorney General of the United States in an eleven months time period. That’s amazing, I can’t believe it,” Jordan zinged with more than a touch of sarcasm.
And, true to form, a female representative leveled accusations of impropriety at Jordan for speaking during Jackson Lee’s time. Unfortunately for her, Jordan said her time had already expired. These people would do anything, and I do mean anything to make themselves appear as if they are perpetual victims. If you dare to poke fun of their crazy ideas and beliefs, pointing out the obvious holes in their logic, you will be called a bigot and a bully, no matter how far from the truth such accusations might be.
“Who’s time is that who you were speaking on?” she went on to ask, assuming she had Jordan cornered.
“That was that time that I yielded back,” Jordan replied.
“Mr. Chairman, that is absolutely inappropriate,” she claimed.
“I was just pointing out something that I think is so, so ridiculous,” he fired back at her.
“Mr. Chairman, that is not appropriate,” she repeated.
“Jordan sent a letter, obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller in May, requesting for Durham to testify before the Weaponization Committee after he released a report alleging the FBI used “uncorroborated intelligence” when launching its probe into former President Donald Trump and his alleged ties to Russia. The report said the FBI received intelligence that Hillary Clinton’s campaign approved ‘a proposal’ to ‘vilify’ Trump by claiming Russia interference in the 2016 presidential election,” the report stated.
It’s important to point out that the Federal Bureau of Investigation has no evidence of Trump colluding with Russia after the “Crossfire Hurricane” probe concluded.
You have to wonder how scared Democrats are right now about their dirty deeds being dragged from the shadows out into the light for the whole world to see. They have to be getting nervous. Especially where it concerns Biden and the investigation into his potential bribe taking.
But what terrifies Democrats is the thought of losing their best weapon for silencing their opposition: federal law enforcement. If it becomes clear that liberals within the government have been using the Justice Department to intimidate conservatives into being quiet and not speaking out against their agenda.
Which makes it all the more important that we make sure all of this gets exposed.
