A manhunt is now underway as law enforcement officials located in Caroline County, Virginia search for an illegal immigrant who escaped from a Caroline Detention Facility on July 2. Dennis Zeledon-Hernandez, 26, gave the detention center the slip several days ago and is now believed to be somewhere close to Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia. Officials who work for the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office stated that escapee does not pose a threat to the community.
I mean, if he’s here illegally, which means he’s a lawbreaker, and he escaped a detention center and is now on the lam, doesn’t that mean he could potentially be dangerous? The guy is clearly pushed to the limit and desperate. Who knows, really, what he could be capable of at this point? Seems foolish to say he poses absolutely no risk to the community. But hey, what do I know?
“The subject is still at large but appears to be contained in an area on Fort A. P. Hill Base since 3:30 am this morning,” officials stated on July 3 in a post published on Facebook.
“We are assisting with an escapee that is a detainee from Caroline Detention Facility,” officials first wrote back on July 2. “The road is shut down due to the emergency personnel in the area of A. P. Hill Boulevard SB around the 118MM to 120MM. We are looking for 26 year old, hispanic male, Dennis Zeledon-Hernandez. At this time, it appears that he poses no threat to the community.”
John Binder, a journalist with Breitbart News, said “Little information is known about Zeledon-Hernandez, though the Caroline Detention Facility is a nearly 340-bed correctional facility that contracts with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to hold illegal aliens while they are in immigration and deportation proceedings.”
You know what would prevent something like this from happening? Increasing security at the border we share with Mexico. It’s a horse that has thoroughly been beaten to death, but nothing has been done to solve the problem so we must continue to whack away. President Joe Biden and his ilk plan on doing nothing to fix this issue. The reason for the inaction?
Changing up the demographic makeup of the United States. Millions upon millions of illegal migrants are flooding across the border. Get them hooked on freebies — housing, medical care, food stamps — then fill them full of fear that Republicans want to take away their goodies, get them riled up and willing to participate in the system –legally or otherwise — and vote Democrats into office.
They get power and control by manipulating people who are desperate for a better life. It’s sick and twisted, but these individuals do not have any moral reservations about treating a person like a political pawn if it means they can push forward their agenda. That’s how little they respect human life, which is a fact that should be obvious by their glee over murdering unborn children.
And this is why it’s critical we win and win big in 2024. We need control of the Senate, the House, and the Oval Office if we want to see serious measures taken to fix immigration.
