Many conservatives and Americans from other political backgrounds and beliefs believe that President Joe Biden does not possess the mental acuity to be serving in the highest office in the land, often citing the endless list of gaffes, tumbles, mumbles, bumbles, and spills he’s taken since moving into the White House as evidence to support their position.
Well, now even the left is joining this belief, though they are doing so in a much different way, seemingly believing that Biden is essentially an invalid or grown man masquerading as a toddler that needs to be taken care of around the clock.
According to Bryan Chai of the Western Journal, MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski made it known on Wednesday’s edition of the network’s “Morning Joe” program that the president’s staffers aren’t doing enough to cover for the commander-in-chiefs issues, which are numerous.

“Yeah, I think his staff needs to own his age,” Brzezinski stated during the program. “I’m just going to be honest. I don’t think they do a good job helping out the president.”
Okay, hold on a minute. Liberal Democrats chose to vote for a man who was 78-years-old. That was the horse they backed. And now they want to complain that people aren’t doing enough of his job for him? If a person is not mentally or physically able to care for themselves and discharge the duties of the office they occupy, they need to either step down or be removed.
Chai then said, “The incumbent president is a ripe 80-years-old, and while you can still lead a perfectly fulfilling life as a grandfather (of seven grandchildren) as an octogenarian, being the leader of the free world is a bit of a steep ask. There’s nothing wrong with that. Time and age eventually catch everyone. The trick is to handle the passage of time and aging with grace — something Biden simply cannot do under the searing microscope of the world.”
“I’m just saying, if you are managing a president’s schedule and you are managing a president getting on-stage and getting off-stage and doing, and getting on planes and getting off planes,” Brzezinski continued. “And yes, he is 80. You need to be there for him, and you need to make a pathway. And you sure as hell better make sure he doesn’t fall on a sandbag.”
Or, just some food for thought, maybe an 80-year-old man should not be president? I mean, as Chai pointed out in his article, if you can’t manage to walk in a straight line, maybe, just maybe, he shouldn’t be allowed to drive? If you cannot drive, why should you be allowed to run the country? This seems like it should be common sense, but sense isn’t so common in the united states in the year 2023.
“And I blame the staff for [Biden’s gaffes],” Brzezinski’s rant continued. “I mean these are the things that are going to hurt him. These are things that are going to be played on a loop.”
“Okay? Let him do his job. Let him do his speeches. Let him work on policy. Let him do his connections in Congress unlike any president that we’ve seen, I don’t know, since Clinton,” she added.
“But, my God. Make sure, you know, you’re Secret Service, you’re his staff, that you’re there and you’re telling him what’s next,” the host stated. “I’ve done speeches, and I’m so nervous. I’m doing the speech. I’m trying to get it right, and when it’s done, I don’t know which way to go,” Brzezinski said. “And I’m looking for direction.”
That’s fine for Brzenzinski. She works for a media outlet. When she is making an idiot of herself on live television, the only person that hurts is her. Only her career will go down the crapper if she makes huge, glaring mistakes. However, there could be severe, even international consequences if President Biden makes a boo-boo.
It’s a point the host doesn’t seem to grasp.
