Republican Kentucky Congressman James Comer, who is serving as the House Oversight Committee Chairman, stated that he thinks one of the whistleblowers who is set to provide testimony about the investigation into President Joe Biden’s younger son, Hunter Biden, has become emboldened by the behavior of Democrats and left-leaning media. That absolutely makes sense. The left is creating more and more patriots every single day due to their extreme actions and wacky beliefs. And yet, they do not seem to care that they are alienating everyday Americans and even pushing many individuals in their own party out and right into the GOP.
According to The Daily Wire, the Internal Revenue Service agent who is referred to as “Whistleblower X” will soon be identified during an oversight panel hearing that is scheduled for Wednesday, Comer stated during an appearance on “Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla.”
“I think the way they treated the first propelled the second to come forward,” Comer stated during the program. “I think they’re disgusted at how the Democrat Party and the liberal media has treated the first whistleblower. These are respected IRS agents who have always done the right thing and who operate by the book.”
The currently unnamed agent has made allegations along with supervisory special agent Gary Shapley, that investigators heading up the probe into Hunter Biden purposefully slow-walked the inquiry so that he would be spared from facing more serious charges. More evidence of the current two-tiered justice system that leftists have created in America.
“In speaking with the House Ways and Means Committee behind closed doors early last month, ‘Whistleblower X’ self-identified as a Democrat who has ‘always strived not to let politics enter my frame of mind when working cases,'” the Daily Wire revealed. “All the Democrats on the Ways and Means Committee voted to keep the testimony secret but were overruled by the Republicans. Ranking member Richard Neal (D-MA) attributed the move to an objection to the ‘process’ rather than the disclosure itself.”
As of now, the years-long probe into Hunter Biden, 53, has basically amounted to nothing more than a slap on the wrist. The troubled younger son of the president recently made a plea deal for charges of tax evasion and for gun violations that would keep him from spending any time behind bars. This would not be the case if a regular person who didn’t have a Democrat daddy as the president. Nope, that individual would be tossed in the clink for years without a second thought.
Chris Clark, Biden’s lawyer, stated that “any suggestion the investigation was not thorough, or cut corners, or cut my client any slack, is preposterous and deeply irresponsible.”
According to Comer, the Democratic Party, “always claims they protect federal employees” unless the officials in question are “blowing the whistle on one of them.” While he did say that some of the folks who are claiming to be whistleblowers are “not credible or they’re just simply disgruntled employees,” he insisted that the whistleblowers from the IRS “have spotless records” and as such, they deserve to be heard and taken seriously.
