On Thursday, Fox News aired a clip of President Joe Biden mumbling incoherently, which is a common sight these days, during an appearance on the network by National Security Council spokesman John Kirby who went on to defend him, stating that he spoke very clearly. I wonder what it is like to be surrounded by “yes men” who basically live and breathe to kiss your backside day and night? Personally, it sounds really, really annoying, but hey, that’s just me.
According to the Daily Caller, Fox News host Martha MacCallum played a clip of President Biden sitting down to have a conversation with Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Tuesday. During the meeting, which was held in the Oval Office, you can hear the president say, “We brought Israelis and Palestinians together at a political level and uh, uh, a, uh,” just before he starts looking down and basically mumbles, slurring his words which were spoken in a low tone of voice, however, Herzog seemed to at least fake being able to understand him and replied, “yes.”
“This moment got a bit of attention. It’s not the only one that is kind of like this that we sometimes see,” MacCallum said before airing the footage.
“Why is it so hard to understand what the president is trying to say there?”she asked Kirby.
“I think he was very, very clear, Martha,” Kirby responded swiftly, almost as if he figured he’d be asked about the latest gaffe. “First of all, our commitment to Israel’s security is ironclad. That won’t change. That doesn’t mean we don’t have concerns. He has concerns and he’s expressed those about the significant changes that are afoot in the democratic institutions inside Israel. The president spoke about that honestly with the prime minister and the president of Israel. Israel is a deep and secure partner and friend in the region. We’re going to do everything we can to make sure that they can continue defend themselves.”
“So you didn’t think there was any problem to communicate there? You didn’t have any difficulty understanding what he was trying to say?” MacCallum followed up.
“The president was very clear in that clip and very clear publicly and privately with the Israeli leaders about what we’re trying to do here,” Kirby said in his reply.
I’m not sure what clip Kirby was watching, but it definitely wasn’t the one that was aired. I don’t care how good you are at lying and spinning narratives, this one is hard to defend. And we have tons and tons of similar examples from Biden that we could easily throw into the same category.
Biden is 80-years-old. Even if you don’t suffer from dementia or cognitive decline, you still aren’t going to be as sharp as you were in your younger days. That’s a fact. You might as well accept that, dear liberals. He’s far, far too old to be serving in this position.
However, when you add everything together, it becomes clear rather quickly that he is indeed suffering from some sort condition and should be at home resting instead of doing a job he is not able to do.
