Rap artist Ice Cube, a legend in the genre dating all the way back to his days with N.W.A., recently sat down for an incredible interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson where he dropped some serious based truth that people in our culture need to hear and heed. One of the topics the pair discussed was race, which Ice Cube, real name O’Shea Jackson, said is taking up too much room in our national discourse, going on to add, “a lot of people make a lot of money” from keeping races hating one another.
According to Breitbart News, “In his recent interview with Tucker Carlson, the veteran artist revealed that he has been banned from multiple news outlets, including ABC’s The View, which he said has blacklisted him because some of the show’s hosts don’t like his opinions. Ice Cube spoke about a wide range of subjects with Tucker Carlson, including the way the establishment has made racial conflict the country’s defining social issue.”
“It’s not about race, it’s not about color,” Ice Cube stated during the interview. “A lot of people make a lot of money off of the races fighting against each other and bickering. They’re the ones pushing it in our face all the time, that we’re separate.” He then referred to it as “a never-ending, win-less battle of race and color.”

Ice Cube then made the claim that both “The View” and Oprah Winfrey have excluded him due to the fact his beliefs diverge from those considered to be orthodoxy in the Democratic Party.
“I’m not part of the club,” he remarked. “So I have to go places, for one, that I’m welcome and I can voice my opinion without somebody saying I’m a bad person.”
The rapper then revealed the meeting he had with folks in the Trump administration to talk about new ways to invest in black communities made him more than a few enemies.
“I think some people didn’t like that,” he stated. “But I think it’s idiotic. Enemies meet. They talk… When the talking stops, the fighting starts.”
“Lot of people they think I’m a Republican, I’m a right-winger just because I was willing to speak to the Trump administration. And I was willing to speak to the Biden administration as well,” Ice Cube told Carlson. He then said that talks with Biden did not produce any real fruit saying it was “one guy…it didn’t go anywhere. They never got to it or never planned to.”
Ice Cube astutely observed that Biden has been a total failure, letting down the individuals who voted for him and then suggested it might be time for black voters to switch “dancing partners.”
Later in the interview, Ice Cube took Tucker Carlson on a tour of his neighborhood, located in South Central Los Angeles.
“How do you think politicians in Los Angeles have done running this city?” asked the former Fox News host.
“It’s pretty much the same people running it the same way. Politicians only pay attention to the people that give them money. Everybody else is kind of an extra in their movie,” Ice Cube responded.
