Former President Donald Trump is a man who is not afraid of a fight. Those of us who have witnessed his political career and have supported many of the moves he’s made along the way are well aware of this fact. Trump has been ruthlessly assaulted — not physically — by the radical left in this country time and time again. He survived two impeachments, the Russian collusion hoax, and much more. Now he faces a total of four criminal indictments, the latest coming out of Georgia.
And he’s making it absolutely crystal clear that he’s not going down without swinging for the fences.
The latest indictment is the second to try and accuse the former president of attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.
“So, the witch hunt continues!” Trump stated in a post published on his Truth Social platform, just a few hours after the indictment in Georgia was officially announced, Jack Davis reported for The Western Journal.
“The leading GOP presidential candidate in the 2024 race said he and 18 others had been indicted ‘by an out of control and very corrupt District Attorney who campaigned and raised money on, ‘I will get Trump,’” Davis said in his article on the president’s response to the latest indictment.
Trump was making a reference to the now infamous Fulton County District Attorney, Fani Willis.
“And what about those Indictment Documents put out today, long before the Grand Jury even voted, and then quickly withdrawn? Sounds Rigged to me!” he then added, making a reference to documents that were published on a court website Monday and later deleted.
“Why didn’t they Indict 2.5 years ago? Because they wanted to do it right in the middle of my political campaign. Witch Hunt!” Trump finished.
In the Georgia indictment, his fourth this year, Trump faces 11 counts including “violating the Georgia RICO Act—the Racketeer Influenced And Corrupt Organizations Act; Solicitation of Violation of Oath by a Public Officer; Conspiracy to Commit Impersonating a Public Officer; Conspiracy to Commit Forgery in the First Degree; Conspiracy to Commit False Statements and Writings; Conspiracy to Commit Filing False Documents; Conspiracy to Commit Forgery in the First Degree; Filing False Documents; and Solicitation of Violation of Oath by a Public Officer,” Fox News reported.
Trump also faces a federal indictment over his challenge of the 2020 election results and the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol incursion that followed, as well as another federal indictment claiming he mishandled classified documents and an indictment in New York alleging Trump falsified business records.
There are a total of 19 individuals besides Trump who are mentioned in the indictment such as Rudy Giuliani, former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, and attorneys Sidney Powell and John Eastman.
“Like Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, Deranged Jack Smith, and New York AG Letitia James, Fulton County, GA’s radical Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis is a rabid partisan who is campaigning and fundraising on a platform of prosecuting President Trump through these bogus indictments,” the Trump presidential campaign stated on Monday.
This is further weaponization of the legal apparatus in the United States, which is clearly being used to take out President Joe Biden’s biggest political adversary, the very man he is likely going to have to face in the general election next year.
