Is Arizona’s very own Kari Lake, who, let’s be honest, got screwed out of being the state’s governor thanks to some shenanigans that will be left unmentioned here, else the powers-that-be in Silicon Valley slap some digital duct tape on my virtual mouth, contemplating a run for the U.S. Senate? Well, according to hard hitting conservative herself, the answer is yes, she’s seriously thinking about giving it a shot.
“I’m seriously contemplating running for Senate,” Lake said while doing an interview on Newsmax, pointing out she will reveal definite plans one way or sometime over the next few months of 2023.
.@KariLake: "We desperately need some people who are going to put the citizens of their state first when they go to the federal government, go off to the Senate or the House.

Lake is widely known to be a very passionate supporter of former President Donald Trump who she is backing for the GOP nomination. During her interview on the right-leaning news network, Lake stated that she will definitely have news about running for the Senate by the end of the year.
She also mentioned during her appearance on the network that she is throwing everything she’s got at the moment into helping Trump win the Republican Party primary in order to see him get a rematch in the general election with President Joe Biden.
According to TheBlaze, “Trump appears to be on track to easily clinch the Republican presidential nomination again. He has been trouncing the rest of the GOP primary field, according to polling.”
“Republicans will unite around our nominee, President Donald J. Trump, and together, we will put an END to Bidenomics,” Lake proclaimed in a post on published on X. Everyone knows what X is now, right? It used to be Twitter for those who might not keep up with social media shenanigans.
As it turns out, Lake is not a very big fan of Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, also running for the party nomination, who she claimed is “controlled by the swamp.” Given the track record he has with doing big things in his state, I highly doubt that’s the case, though some of his donors are questionable. Lake is just spewing forth typical Trump supporter talking points to support her choice in the election. Which is absolutely fine. It’s to be expected, especially during elections held in this era.
At the end of the day, Trump and DeSantis both make excellent choices to be the GOP nominee. Either one of them has the potential to absolutely destroy Biden, especially when you look at his economic record. Setting aside the numerous scandals he’s currently being investigated for, his destruction of our economy, which has left a devastating crater in the average American family’s budget and cost of living, is more than enough reasons for him to be voted out of office next year.
And that’s not including the debacle in Afghanistan two years ago, when the president yanked our troops from the country, allowing the Taliban to take it over and causing the deaths of 13 American military members at the hands of a suicide bomber. In the years since this horrific mistake, Biden has refused to name the victims who lost their lives and has treated their surviving families poorly.
Joe Biden lacks character and a strong sense of morality. Add that to his awful progressive policies and the fact he’s suffering cognitive decline and it’s obvious he needs to go.
