According to Mary Lou Masters of the Daily Caller, President Joe Biden is actually trailing behind former President Donald Trump by a total of 9 points in a crucial battleground state he actually won during the 2020 presidential election, a new poll revealed on Wednesday. I’m talking about Pennsylvania, folks. Trump is now handily spanking Biden in the same state that gave us John Fetterman. If the people in Pennsylvania are having a political awakening of this magnitude, you know Biden is doing a horrific job in the Oval Office.
“Trump beat Biden 45% to 36% among Pennsylvania voters, with 11% choosing someone else and 8% remaining undecided, according to the Emerson College survey. Biden won the state in 2020 against the former president 50% to 48.8% in one of the country’s most narrow margins of victory, and Trump beat Hillary Clinton in 2016 by 1.2 points,” Masters wrote. “The survey also found that Biden had a 31% approval rating among Pennsylvanians, with 51% disapproving.”
A recent survey that was conducted by the people over at Quinnipiac University has suggested that Trump was leading the president by two points among voters in the state, along with independents at 48 percent to 39 percent.
This is not a new trend, either. Trump has been overtaking Biden in several important states such as Michigan, Georgia, and North Carolina. A poll that was published by Reuters/Ipsos in September discovered that in those states and Arizona and Nevada, Trump was in the top spot 41 percent to 35 percent.
Masters then said, “Trump is currently up against Biden by 1 point, according to the RealClearPolitics (RCP) average. The RCP average for a 2024 national Republican and Democratic primary, based on the most recent polling, suggest that both Trump and Biden are leading their respective fields with 57.7% and 61.3%, respectively.”
“Pennsylvania Democratic incumbent Sen. Bob Casey has an 8-point lead over Republican David McCormick, who recently jumped into the race, with 8% saying they’d support someone else and 18% remaining undecided, according to the Emerson College survey. Democratic Gov. Josh Shapiro also scored a 35% approval rating, with 27% disapproving and 39% remaining neutral,” the report stated.
This news might seem shocking to a lot of Democrats, but it’s not to those of us who are spending our time living in reality. Leftist voters have basically had to bury their heads in the sand in order to ignore the constant stream of failures by this administration. How else can they still think Biden should have an additional four years to screw everything up? It defies any sort of logic.
Biden has tanked our economy, put policies in place that led to record high inflation, botched a global pandemic, caused the Taliban to take over Afghanistan with a mess of a troop withdrawal that left 13 Americans dead, then handed over $6 billion to Iran that has likely helped them bankroll Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel.
And that’s just a sample of his accomplishments. Then, of course, there’s the questions concerning his health and ability to discharge the duties of his office. He’s in his 80s. Will he even live long enough to finish a second term?
It’s no wonder Trump is taking the lead.
