Former HUD Director for former President Donald Trump, Ben Carson, revealed that Americans should be concerned about how the United States has been helping the Hamas terrorist organization carry out its horrific deeds and attacks, especially with President Joe Biden essentially having an “open border” policy that is allowing millions of illegal migrants to enter the country without being properly screened.
“We are able to see from this the end result of intolerance and demonization and that’s why we need to be very careful about that in our country,” Carson went on to say during an interview on Newsmax‘s “National Report” program Thursday.
“The fact that these terrorists are there — believe me, they are also in our country. We’ve had an open border for three years. They’ve been flooding in there. They’re preparing to do something really big. We think this is bad. I think this is the tip of the iceberg because we have not been vigilant. We are facilitating our own demise,” the famous neurosurgeon continued.
Carson stated during the interview that the $6 billion the Biden administration paid to Iran as part of a prisoner swap played a significant part in the Hamas attack on Israel, regardless of the story being pushed by the White House.
“Application of common sense would tell you that that $6 billion played a role because if you were planning to buy something but you didn’t feel confident that you had enough money and then you got a telegram that said your uncle just died and left you $1 million, you might go ahead and buy that item even though you don’t have $1 million and that’s just common sense,” he added during his appearance on the program.
“For [White House spokesperson on national issues John Kirby] to sit there and deny that that had any impact is ridiculous. We need to make sure that money is frozen and apply diplomatic pressure to everyone around the world to freeze assets and not buy Iranian oil and not continue to increase their coffers so they can continue to carry out their malicious ideology,” the former HUD director stated.
Kirby had a conversation with the press on Thursday where he stated that all of the $6 billion is still sitting in a bank and has not been used for anything.
“I’m not going to talk about diplomatic conversations one way or another,” Kirby stated. “What I can tell you is every single dime of that money is sitting in the Qatari bank. Not one dime of it has been spent.”
Carson is spot on when it comes to being worried about the southern border. A number of folks who have been taken into custody at the border were from countries of interest, places known for spawning lots of anti-American terrorists, which means tons more have made their way to the interior of the U.S.
If we don’t want to see horrific acts of violence like those that took place in Israel last week, we need to start enforcing the law and get a wall up along the southern border to reduce the number of folks gaining access to our nation.
