As if the hardcore Marxist progressives within the Black Lives Matter movement needed to prove to us all they have no semblance of a human soul left in their bodies, a related organization known as “Black Lives Matter at School” has published a bunch of teaching guides and toolkits from a pro-Palestine perspective just a week and a half after Hamas — a Palestinian terrorist organization — launched a series of violent attacks on the Jewish nation, killing 1,400 people. Oh, and some of those people were Americans too.
These people truly have no shame.
“Following the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel that killed over 1,400 people, multiple BLM-associated organizations, including Chicago BLM and BLM Grassroots, posted pro-Hamas statements that drew widespread condemnation. The BLM at School organization, which supplies schools with resources on BLM-related topics, began recommending resources for educators that teach the ‘ways in which Israel seeks to improve its dismal world image’ after the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel,” the Daily Caller reported.
The BLM at School group provides a list of over a dozen websites that have resources showing educators how they can go about brainwashing children to become anti-Semites like they are by taking a pro-Palestinian approach to the situation between Israel and Gaza. One of the websites the organization promotes is called Decolonize Palestine, which makes the claim that Israel being a democracy is a “myth.” Yet another on the list, Rethinking Schools, recommends teacher instruct students about the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement, which wants to see the U.S. pull all their financial support for Israel.
“Palestinians are reminding us that decolonization is not a metaphor or abstraction, but requires real, daily struggle,” BLM at School’s website goes on to say.
“Education should be wielded in service of struggle. The ongoing fight to #TeachTruth in the U.S. must include Palestinian existence, resistance, culture, global contributions, and the ongoing struggle to realize a free Palestine. It also must directly name the ways that U.S. imperialism has fueled and supported apartheid and war crimes,” BLM at School’s website adds later.
“We also want to encourage K-12 teachers and education activists to participate directly in the BDS movement. As teachers and teacher educators, we have pension funds, many of which are invested in corporations that contribute to and/or profit from the repression of Palestinian people,” Rethinking Schools’ website informs visitors.
The BLM at School also provides links to a website called Palestinian Youth Movement, which heavily promotes anti-Zionism, along with recommended resources concerning “resistance ranging from political histories, interviews, memoirs, poetry, films, and primary documents.”
“We refer to all forms of resistance taken up by Palestinians: in the form of economic resistance, women’s organizations, unions and labor organizing, and military/armed resistance,” the Palestinian Youth Movement’s website states.
And, of course, when the Daily Caller attempted to reach out to BLM at School to ask them for clarity concerning the materials they have produced, they did not, as of this writing, respond. What could they possibly say to justify such rampant displays of prejudice and hatred? Nothing. That’s what. And they know it.
