Richard Grenell, former acting Director of National Intelligence, took an opportunity during an appearance on Newsmax‘s “Wake Up America” to open up a can of whoop a** on President Joe Biden, stating that he’s “stumbling on the world stage,” which is one heck of an eloquent way of putting it. I can’t tell if he was purposefully taking a jab at the fact Biden can’t seem to remain upright during a public appearance, having fallen up the stairs or on stage at various events numerous times since taking over the White House, or if it’s just a “happy accident” as famous painter Bob Ross used to say.
Regardless, it’s both truth and hilarious.
When Grenell was asked for his thoughts about House Republicans’ current search for a new Speaker, he said that members of the GOP, like himself, are “watching what’s happening in Washington and most of us are just like, get it together … Whoever is going to be speaker, just get it together” because “Republican activists across the country voted for a conservative Congress, they wanted to see a check and balance on Joe Biden.”
Later during the program, Grenell remarked, “I don’t know who’s going to be speaker. I don’t know who that body wants, but get together and put your egos aside and get the best person that we can have that we can find because we need someone that’s representing the Republicans.”
The former intelligence director once again ripped into Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s recent trip to the Middle East concerning the canceled summit with the president and various leaders in the troubled region of the world.
He stated that Biden “travels all the way there, the secretary of state tells the world that we’re going to have these amazing meetings with other world leaders, the Jordanians, the Egyptians, the Palestinian government, that we’re gonna be able to make some progress here … we’re going to have some diplomacy.”
Grenell then added, “The president of the United States gets there and everybody cancels on him? This is a disaster in the making, and all I can think is the House needs to get its act together.”
There are only two possible explanations for the current state of affairs in the United States, which is causing a lot of problems worldwide. One, the president is experiencing massive cognitive decline and has surrounded himself with total and utter incompetence, thus, there are no real, intelligent adults steering the ship. Or two, the president is experiencing massive cognitive decline, and the people around him are well aware of this, but are making the policy decisions they are purposefully, hoping to run the ship into an iceberg and sink it so they can build a new one, according to the blueprints left behind by Karl Marx.
In both of these hypothetical situations, we lose.
This is why it’s critical for House Republicans to stop finding ways to divide from one another and actually join together in order to pick a solid Speaker who can handle the responsibilities of the office, maintain their integrity, and help fight back against the agenda Biden and his ilk are trying to implement.
