President Joe Biden’s poll numbers are absolutely abysmal. They have been for quite sometime, but this has mostly been in red states and key battleground states that tend to go back-and-forth between parties. However, new surveys have revealed that Biden is drowning in deep blue states now, such as New York, which is a clear signal that the vast majority of every day Americans have their eyes wide open concerning the current administration and what a disaster it’s been for our country.
The poll, conducted by Siena College Research Institute, revealed that the president’s favorability-unfavorability numbers fell from 45-52 percent from the 50-45 percent it was at back in September, according to the Daily Caller. A huge percentage of Democrats, 52 percent, want the Democratic Party to choose a completely different presidential candidate to be the nominee instead of Biden, compared to 54 percent who said they wanted to see Biden remain the nominee for the 2024 general election just a month ago.
“While 70% of Democrats view Biden favorably, and 70% of Democrats approve of the job he’s doing, 52% of Democrats say they want a different presidential nominee in 2024,” Siena College pollster Steven Greenberg went on to say in a press release. “And in the general, Biden only leads Trump 46-37%, a far cry from the 61-38% margin Biden won by in 2020. Biden’s lead slips to just seven points if RFK and West – who, combined, win the support of nearly one in five voters – are on the ballot.”
“In the same poll, 64% of voters and 48% of Democrats disapprove of how the Biden administration is handling the migrant crisis within the state. A majority of voters, 59%, say crime in New York state has gotten worse. About 84% of New York voters say the state’s migrant crisis is serious and 57% say it is very serious,” the Daily Caller reported.
The fall in favorability might have a lot to do with the increasing concern among American voters over the impact of the president’s age. I mean, the man is 80-years-old. How many people do you know in that age range who still have a level of sharpness mentally speaking to run a whole country? Probably not many. Add to that all of the gaffes we’ve seen where Biden wanders around like he’s on autopilot, combined with the falls, mumbles, temper tantrums, and so on. Pretty understandable why people are worried.
A total of 77 percent of Americans believe Biden is not able to govern the nation effectively due to his age, according to a survey conducted by the Associated Press/NORC. A whopping 67 percent of Democratic-leaning voters across the country want to see someone else be the party’s nominee, according to a poll from CNN.
“The poll was conducted from Oct. 15-19 and surveyed 1,225 New York State registered voters. The overall margin of error is +/- 3.4 percentage points,” the Daily Caller explained.
“Voters disapprove of the job Governor Kathy Hochul is doing to address the migrant influx by 15 points, but they disapprove of the job Adams is doing on the migrant issue by 16 points and they disapprove of the Biden Administration on this issue by a whopping 35 points, including a slight plurality of Democrats,” Greenberg remarked in the press release.
