Conservative firebrand Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican who hails from Georgia, has a well earned reputation for not mincing her words and being a woman of action. When she believes in something, she pursues it, not just bloviating about it on social media like many politicians, both Democrats and the GOP. And she’s had quite enough of her radical left-wing colleague, Rep. Rashida Tliab from Michigan and all of her nasty, deplorable “antisemitic activity” which she’s always spewed forth from her seat in the House, but has seemingly become rabid following the terrorist attacks by Hamas on Israel.
A report from the Daily Caller stated that the Michigan Democrat has been repeating a claim made by Hamas — your first sign that your belief system is, shall we say, “troubled” is when it supports the horrific bloodshed perpetrated by terrorists — that Israel is responsible for the bombing of a hospital located in the Gaza Strip. Add this to the fact that it took Tlaib a whopping five days to come out and condemn the terrorist attacks on Oct. 7 and you have a perfect recipe to incur the wrath of the notorious MTG.
“I just introduced my resolution to censure Rashida Tlaib as privileged to force a House vote in two legislative days,” Greene stated in a post on X/Twitter. “Tlaib led a pro-Hamas insurrection into the Capitol complex, has repeatedly displayed her anti-Semitic beliefs, and shown her hatred for Israel. She must be held accountable and censured.”
Tlaib, along with other members of the now infamous “Squad” such as New York Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, and Cori Bush of Missouri, cast votes against a resolution in the House that would provide support for Israel and condemn the terrorist attacks by Hamas. Well, this certainly reveals where their loyalties, lie, doesn’t it? Isn’t it sort of concerning that we have government officials in our legislative branch who are more or less supporting terrorists and religious zealots? Shouldn’t that be cause for some sort of investigation? That’s scary.
Check out additional details from the DC:
Tlaib released a statement Monday doubling down on the debunked claim that an Israel airstrike killed nearly 500 people at the hospital in Gaza. The congresswoman has yet to delete her initial tweet addressing the bombing.
“Media outlets and third-party analysts have raised doubts about claims and evidence offered by both Israel and the Gaza Ministry of Health, and I agree with the United Nations that an independent investigation is necessary,” Tlaib wrote in the statement. “I cannot uncritically accept Israel’s denials of responsibility as fact, especially in light of confirmation from the World Health Organization that Israel has bombed numerous medical facilities in Gaza and reports from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society of ongoing threats from the Israeli military to evacuate hospitals.”
The U.S. received “high confidence” intelligence that Israel was not responsible for the bombing, and that the incident was instead caused by a Palestinian Islamic Jihad misfire.
You know Tlaib and others like her are really, really extremely far left when someone like Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman slams them for jumping to conclusions when they decided to just believe the wacky terrorists and lay the blame for the hospital bombing at the feet of the Jewish nation.
The one truth that has been revealed in light of these attacks on Israel is that anti-Semitism is absolutely alive and well in modern-day America and other Western cultures. We’ve been told time and time again how racism is still one of the biggest threats to our society and how it is institutionalized, but that doesn’t seem to be true.
Replace “racism” with “anti-Semitism” and you might just have something.
