Just when you think the country couldn’t possibly get any nuttier, along comes Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Canadian Parliament to say, “hold my beer.” A brand new policy has been put in place that requires federally regulated employers, which includes military bases and airports, to place free menstrual products (tampons) in all of their bathrooms and washrooms, regardless of gender. So, basically, men’s restrooms now have tampons available for mentally ill biological females who think they are dudes and for mentally disturbed biological males who think they actually menstruate, despite the fact they lack the proper equipment to do so.
I just don’t know how much more of the pure insanity overshadowing our culture I can take, folks. I feel like there was a point in human history that this timeline skewed away from the main continuity and we’re officially the “bad timeline.” Or we somehow crossed over into an alternate universe where everyone is insane. Either way, I have a hard time believing this is the actual world we call home.
Here are more details from Newsmax:
Attention was drawn to the change last week after former Canadian Conservative Sen. Linda Frum posted a photo of a basket offering free pads and tampons inside a men’s bathroom for transgender members of Parliament.
Frum stated in a post on X: “Back in the day, when only women menstruated, we had to pay for our own products. But now that men menstruate too, these products, as of this week, are mandated to be free in all men’s washrooms in all federal workplaces, including Parliament Hill — where this photo was taken today.”
Trudeau’s government explained that “providing employees with access to menstrual products supports better health outcomes and workplace productivity while reducing the stigma often associated with menstruation,” the New York Post reported.
Each employer is required to find the funding necessary to buy these products and disposal containers. The change to the law was announced in May and went into effect Dec. 15. Providing free tampons and other menstrual products creates a more equitable work environment, said Period Packs Executive Director Megan White.
“It makes a huge difference knowing that they’re consistently there and you don’t have to carry one with you everywhere, like at the bottom of your purse or the bottom of your school bag or in your pocket,” White remarked.
Frum then stated that if tampons were only made available in women’s restrooms, it would ultimately force transgender men to use those facilities. Well, hold on, now. I thought it was perfectly fine, acceptable, and even encouraged for biological males who identify as women to use women’s restrooms because they are women. Are these people saying transgender males are not real women? So much contradiction in this twisted up worldview.
Political columnist Brian Lilley criticized the policy, arguing that the Trudeau government is ignoring the country’s growing affordability issues in favor of bathroom equity measures.
“We are eliminating the language that identifies women as being distinct from men,” Lilley went on to say, adding that “as a society, we can be respectful” but that does not mean “we need to ignore biology and pretend that men are now having periods.”
How do we end this madness, this legitimate form of mass psychosis? Maybe this is all just a bad nightmare and we’ll all wake up from our collective coma any moment now?
