Radical progressives continue to prove over and over that they are, at the core of their being, anti-Semitic. Anyone plugged into modern politics since former President Barack Obama was elected has been made well aware that Democrats of today have a passionate, seething hatred for the Jewish state and its people. Just look at the hateful protests and reactions from all sorts of folks on social media since Palestinian terrorist group Hamas attacked Israel in October. It’s like we’re living in 1930s Germany or something with all of the anti-Jewish propaganda popping up everywhere.
A good case in point comes from a new Daily Caller report that says President Joe Biden hung up on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after the pair had a rather intense exchange on the phone, two U.S. and Israeli officials, along with an additional source, told reporters for Axios. The source of the contention between the two men? A dispute concerning Palestinian tax revenue.

Amid the Israel-Hamas war, the Israeli government has refused to release some tax revenues it collects for the Palestinian Authority that it says would go to the terrorist group Hamas, causing a dispute between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, according to Axios. Biden and Netanyahu had a call on Saturday in which the president reportedly got frustrated with the Israeli leader after he backtracked on a previous solution to the Palestinian tax revenue dispute, U.S. and Israeli officials told Axios.
“The feeling was that the president is going out on a limb for Bibi every day and when Bibi needs to give something back and take some political risk he is unwilling to do it,” one U.S. official said during a conversation with the outlet.
While the Palestinian Authority refuses to accept a partial transfer of the tax revenue, the Biden administration is raising concerns that limiting funds to the area could lead to a collapse and eventually further conflict in the West Bank, Axios reported. As a temporary solution, Biden suggested that the partial funds Israel is keeping go to Norway until an agreement is reached, a temporary compromise the Palestinian Authority has already accepted, the officials told Axios.
Netanyahu allegedly accepted the proposal, but then had a change of heart about the deal and contacted President Biden, informing he believed the Palestinian Authority should just take whatever money the nation of Israel is willing to provide, going on to state he does not trust Norway, one of the American officials revealed.
The change of mind frustrated Biden which led to him telling Netanyahu, “This conversation is over.”
A second U.S. official downplayed the conversation to Axios saying that Israel is reportedly “just said they’re still working through things on their end” and hasn’t turned down the solution involving Norway quite yet.
The recent conversation between the two world leaders has reportedly been the most tense and frustrating conversation the two have had throughout the Israel-Hamas war, a U.S. official told Axios. As the Israel-Hamas war continues, reports have increased detailing rising tensions between Biden and Netanyahu. At a campaign event in December, Biden told donors that Israel is losing global support, even going as far to say that Netanyahu needs to change his government.
“Israel’s security can rest on the United States, but right now it has more than the United States. It has the European Union. It has Europe. It has most of the world supporting them,” Biden commented at the campaign event.
Can you really blame Bibi for not wanting to provide a lot of material support for the Palestinian Authority? Hamas is connected to the governing body. Which means there’s a chance the funds they send will be used against them in future attacks. It’s insane to try and force them into providing massive amounts of funding to the very enemies who assaulted them and killed their people.
“They’re starting to lose that support by indiscriminate bombing that takes place,” the Democratic president stated.
And there’s more Palestinian propaganda being pushed by the president.
Hamas is using innocent human beings in Gaza as shields, hiding among them like cowards. Israel must retaliate and defend themselves against the threat posed by these Islamic terrorists. Unfortunately, since they refuse to allow people to flee the area, there are going to be casualties. But Israel is getting the blame when it should be placed squarely on the shoulders of Hamas. That’s what makes this anti-Semitism.
You can disagree with Israel all day and that doesn’t make you hateful or an anti-Semite. But when you want the Jewish state to just allow Hamas terrorists to kill innocent Jewish civilians and not do anything about it? Yeah, I’m sorry, but there seems to be more behind that stance than simple politics.
