Former President Donald Trump and his legal representatives asked an appellate court in the state of New York to pump the brakes on the collection of a massive, ginormous civil fraud judgment of $454 million during the appeals process for the case, though he stated he would be willing to post a $100 million appeal bond instead of paying the full amount. This is a wise course of action because even someone like Trump, who clearly has a lot of money, will take a pretty sizable hit from the fines he got slapped with during the case.
According to his legal team, Judge Arthur Engoron, who is presiding over the fraud case, made a February 16 ruling that bans the former president, his company, and his co-defendants from being able to get loans from New York banks for a period of three years, which makes it impossible for him to get a bond in order to pay the full amount.

If Trump would have paid a bond that fully covers the $454 million judgment, it would have automatically halted the judgment from being executed. Trump has less than 30 days to pay the full judgment or appeal while posting a bond with the full amount.
Trump filed an appeal of Engoron’s orders Monday, but it did not automatically stop the judgment from being enforced. The appeal asks the court to consider whether the judge overseeing the trial “committed errors of law and/or fact.”
Trump had also asked Engoron to delay the payment in the case last week, but he denied the request.
Engoron ruled in favor of New York Democratic Attorney General Letitia James before the trial even began by finding Trump responsible for inflating his wealth to secure better loan and insurance deals. The trial, which ended last month, was on the damages against Trump.
If this doesn’t convince you that the legal system has been hijacked by individuals who are part of the deep state, I’m not sure what will. Clearly, the goal of the Democrats with this fraud case is to destroy Trump’s company, which he spent a lot of years building up. Why would they want to do such a thing? To stop you from getting any bright ideas about offering them any resistance when the elites attempt to force everyone to join the hive mind. Trump is a threat to all of the hard work they have been doing for decades, and thus, they must stop him and anyone who might be like him, from serving in office.
Intimidation is the name of the game. If they scare you enough, you’ll be quiet and just go along with the program without raising any kind of stink about the way your freedoms are being stripped away. They want quiet, subdued, submission with no questions asked.
Trump rocked the boat in 2016. As a result, others have been emboldened and have risen to positions of power and influence. This is the liberal’s worst nightmare. It’s the biggest threat to their pipe dreams of a utopian society. And that’s why we must fight. To preserve our liberty and the principles that truly make America great.
