Former President Donald Trump has landed in the great state of Texas just ahead of President Joe Biden, as they both prepare to address the border crisis that is wreaking havoc on our nation, both in the form of skyrocketing crime rates and severe strain on the economy. This has become such a dire situation that illegal immigration is now the most important issue for voters right now. Let’s face the music. Biden isn’t going to do anything to bring the chaos to order. He’ll make excuses — like calling deportation and calls for a wall “racism” — or really just ignore it, which has been his reaction to the mess from the start.
If you want someone who is going to actually address the situation, it’s going to be Trump. When he was in office the first time he started construction on a wall, but was halted by progressives who see illegal migrants as a gold mine for votes.

Trump arrived at Del Rio International Airport on his way to Eagle Pass, Texas, one of the most heavily trafficked of the U.S. border crossings with Mexico. Biden was set to visit Brownsville, the southernmost border point with Mexico about 325 miles away, where illegal migrant crossings reportedly have dropped.
“Great weather. Beautiful day. But a very dangerous border. We’re going to take care of it,” Trump, the front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination, said in a video postedon his Truth Social account.
Trump’s campaign to retake the White House has focused on the border crisis, which has seen record numbers of encounters at the southern border in each of Biden’s first three years in office. Trump has said the border was secure during his administration and blames Biden for undoing the policies he put in place.
One of the main reasons we need to address the southern border, aside from the high crime rates, is the threat to our nation security. There are an untold number of individuals from terrorist groups based out of the Middle East who are using the open border policy of the Biden administration to gain access to the interior of the country. Once they get in here there are a number of different things they can do, all leading to the ultimate end goal, which is an attack on the innocent citizens of the United States.
For example, they could spend a significant amount of time setting up a sleeper cell, radicalizing people online and in person, building a terror network right here on our own soil. Or they could simply prepare lone wolf attacks. Either way, they want to hurt people and that needs to be stopped.
Republicans and other critics believe Biden is making the trip only as a political stunt because of his sagging poll numbers, with a Harvard/Harris poll released last week showing 71% saying his administration needs to make it tougher for migrants to enter the U.S. illegally. The same poll showed immigration was the top concern among Americans at 36%, just ahead of inflation and price increases (33%) and the economy and jobs (24%).
Trump will most definitely get something done to stop the invasion happening down south. Biden will not. And that’s by choice. Let’s hope Trump takes home the big “W” come November.
