President Joe Biden is in big, big trouble, y’all.
I think it’s safe, at this point in his time in office, to say that his administration has been nothing short of a full-on dumpster fire. Have you seen how high inflation is lately? Of course you have. You’ve been to the local supermarket. You no doubt saw that when you ran that box of Cocoa Pebbles across the scanner the price of your favorite cereal likely went up by a sizable margin.
If you’re anything like me, your whole grocery bill probably doubled. What’s infuriating is this isn’t due to suddenly buying more expensive items. I’m buying the same crap I always bought until Captain Senile took office, and I’m paying significantly more for it. Since I’m forking over twice the cash, but only getting the same amount of product, other areas of my personal finances have taken a big hit. I’m now having to make significant reductions in my lifestyle, which was perfectly affordable and rather basic and plain, in order to feed my family.
In short, this sucks.
And the slumped shoulders of Joe Biden are squarely where the blame for this misery should be placed. And this sentiment is shared by the vast majority of American voters, which means there are a lot of people who previously didn’t vote for former President Donald Trump that are certainly pulling the lever for him this time.
Biden’s approval rating is hovering around 38 percent and it hasn’t moved in ages.
All of the gaffes, all of the stumbles and tumbles, coupled with poor policies and his cognitive decline have led to Biden being one of the most unpopular presidents in recent history.
And here’s the proof:
538 Average: Net Approval Ratings at this time (1,121 days) in office.
1. Eisenhower: +52.1%
2. Nixon: +20.0%
3. Reagan: +17.9%
4. Clinton: +17.0%
5. Obama: +2.5%
6. G.W. Bush: -5.4%
7. Truman: -7.4%
8. Carter: -8.8%
9. Trump: -10.6%
10. H.W. Bush: -11.9%
11. Biden: -17.7%… https://t.co/6HyOpXsiMF pic.twitter.com/YGxnuvnqWG— InteractivePolls (@IAPolls2022) May 24, 2024
Yikes.
The man came in below Jimmy Carter. Read that statement again. Below Jimmy Carter. Biden is actually doing so bad, he’s making former President Barack Obama, whom he served under as vice president, look good by comparison. Come on, man.
That’s terrible. That’s horrible. It’s no-good. It’s very bad.
You get the picture.
And what’s even more humiliating for Biden and The Democratic Party is that the work he’s done in office is so bad he’s losing whole demographics that were once a lock for the radical left, such as the Black community. It has been a given for years that Blacks would usually vote for Democratic Party candidates. And now that trend is quickly coming to an end.
According to Politico:
Prominent Black officials are warning the Biden campaign that the president’s efforts to keep Black voters firmly and enthusiastically in his electoral coalition aren’t working — and that time is running out to get his message across.
The publicly voiced concern from these Black Democrats isn’t that the White House lacks policy achievements — it’s that Black voters aren’t hearing about them. Worse, they fear that the Biden campaign has not fully grasped the severity of the information gap at hand, particularly in key battleground states.
“I’m in a battleground state. I know what has and hasn’t been done. I felt a level of disconnection earlier on the message, on the messengers and on mobilization,” said Rep. Steven Horsford (D-Nev.), the chair of the Congressional Black Caucus. He said he has brought this issue directly to the campaign.
Everybody with a pulse is quickly realizing that Biden is bad news. Let’s hope they keep that frame of mind come November.
