If Democrats thought Vice President Kamala Harris was just going to waltz into the Democratic Party nomination and immediately take back the black vote and destroy former President Donald Trump, well, they are in for some serious disappointment. Even one of their own thinks there is quite a bit of ground Harris will have to make up in order to beat Trump.
And given the fact the former president just survived an assassination attempt where he was shot in the face and immediately rose from the ground and pumped his fist in the air like a total bada** I’d say the Queen of the Word Salad doesn’t have a chance in H**. Maybe I’m being overly optimistic, but I firmly believe that Trump is the right man for the job when it comes to the presidency and that his policies can help set our nation back on track toward greatness.
CNN senior data reporter, Harry Enten, issued a warning to fellow Democrats on Tuesday about how tough it is going to be for the vice president to overcome Trump in the upcoming election.

“For all of the excitement that Democrats have over Kamala Harris, it is going to be difficult to beat Donald Trump and I want to give you an understanding of why. Let’s take a look here just first at the favorable views of Donald Trump. We know that Donald Trump has historically been unpopular, but take a look now. After the Republican National Convention, in the ABC News/Ipsos poll, he recorded his highest ever favorable rating at 40%. That’s not a one-off,” Enten went on to tell host Sara Sidner.
“Take a look at the Quinnipiac University poll, 46%. That’s the highest ever in that pollster. The fact is Donald Trump is more popular now than he ever has been before,” Enten added during the on-air segment. “So, yes, Democrats can make this switcharoo, but they’re still going to have to beat Donald Trump. A Donald Trump, who is stronger, Sara, than he has ever been before.”
Here’s more information from The Daily Caller:
Pollster Nate Silver recently described Harris as “mediocre at best” and said Trump would likely defeat her if she replaced Biden, despite her mental fitness compared to the president.
“Donald Trump is running five points better … than he was four years ago against Joe Biden. So at this particular point, whether you look at the favorable ratings, whether you look at the horse race polling, we see that Donald Trump is doing significantly better than he was doing four years ago at this point,” Enten explained to CNN’s viewing audience. “Kamala Harris is going to have to do better than this, of course, if she wants to win the popular vote, but more than that, if she wants to win the Electoral College, which she’ll likely have to outperform how she’s done nationally because the fact is, if you’ve got a tie in the national popular vote, that is probably not good enough if you’re Kamala Harris and you want to win the election against Donald Trump.”
All I can say is that if, by some nightmare scenario, Kamala Harris becomes our next president, we are in for a very bumpy ride, particularly when it comes to national security. Harris was tasked with solving the border crisis and we see she did exactly nothing to lock down the border and deport the many criminals who crossed into our nation by the thousands and hundreds of thousands.
Imagine how badly she’d handle dealing with Ukraine and Russia. Or radical Islamic terrorists. What a terrifying thought.
Unfortunately, nervous cackling and mixing metaphors and platitudes isn’t going to impress hardcore world leaders like Russian President Vladimir Putin.
