Democratic Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York received some cutting remarks during the Dominican Day Parade in New York City. The event is designed to celebrate all the various aspects of Dominican culture, from music and food to dancing and other forms of art. But when Schumer showed up, he was confronted by some folks who were, shall we say, less than enthused by his presence at the parade.
Trending Politics News revealed that over a million people showed up to the celebration of Dominican culture. The event is held on a yearly basis, in August, and features a lengthy procession along the Avenue of the Americas located in Manhattan. Those who participate in it showcase Dominican music, dancing, and costumes. It’s usually a pretty good time had by all.
As Schumer mingled with parade-goers on Sixth Avenue, a heckler, identified as DVS 7.0 on X, took the opportunity to express his displeasure with the senator’s political track record.
“Hey Chuck, you know the Americans actually hate your guts, right? Because you’re a scumbag, you know that, right? You ruined New York. You’re a loser. You’re a loser, buddy. You’re a loser,” the heckler went on to say to the sentator’s face.

Liberals and the propagandists in the news who keep telling you that minorities are all in for the left are lying to you. When you actually go out among the American people, regardless of race or ethnicity, you soon discover that the vast majority of us share the same values, principles, and concerns. Progressives want you to believe that we don’t have common ground. Divided, we’re easier to conquer. But that’s just not the truth.
As of late, New York City has been plagued by a surge in crime and an influx of illegal immigrants over the last couple of years. To add to his record, Schumer recently unveiled legislation aimed at reversing the Supreme Court decision that granted presidents legal immunity, particularly Donald Trump. The move sharpened the Democrat Party’s claim that democracy’s fate hung in the balance in the November elections.
However, Schumer has quietly emerged as a beneficiary of his party’s vice presidential selection. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s nomination as the Democratic vice presidential candidate safeguarded Schumer’s Senate Democratic caucus by avoiding a potential special election in a battleground state as reported by Axios. The decision also kept North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper, previously considered for the VP slot, available for a possible Senate run in 2026.
Schumer, who holds a lot of pull and sway within the party, was one of the big wigs who supported the call for President Joe Biden to step down from the nomination, opening the door for Vice President Kamala Harris to take the spot against former President Donald Trump. He believed that Biden continuing forward as the nominee would not only provide an open door to major losses for other Democrats in critical races, but would enable Trump to easily take the victory in November.
He should probably be concerned with his own future in the political realm because people are sick and tired of failure after failure from the left.
