President Joe Biden has a well known reputation for being a cranky old bugger, which he lived up to in a recent exchange he had with reporters at the White House on Wednesday. What got his boxers in a bunch? He was asked questions about his economic policies. It’s easy to understand why he would be upset by this, given the fact that he’s basically plunged the nation into economic disaster, causing food prices to skyrocket and inflation to hit astronomic levels.
Under Biden’s watch we’ve witnessed his policies doing next to nothing to fix inflation, most often being the cause of it. Ever since he took over the Oval Office, the price of gas, food, housing, and other essential items has climbed through the roof. Given this is an election year, it only makes sense that reporters would question him on this as Americans deserve to know how he’s going to handle the situation going forward.
The folks at Mediaite pointed out, “Last month, Biden dropped out of the race after facing pressure from members of his own party. In head-to-head polling with former President Donald Trump, the economy was one of Biden’s weakest issues, according to most voter surveys.”
A reporter asked the president if the country is overcoming inflation to which Biden responded the country would have a “soft landing” before demanding the press give his economic policies friendlier coverage.
REPORTER: Inflation numbers! Has the U.S. beat inflation, Mr. President?
BIDEN: Yes, yes, yes! I told you we’re going to have a soft landing…my policies are working. Start writing that way, okay?

A lot of folks get defense when they feel their work has been attacked or insulted. That’s a normal human reaction. However, when it comes to Biden, it just goes to show how much the cognitive decline he’s going through has impacted his mood and attitude. Mood swings and irritation, along with angry outbursts, are all signs and symptoms of dementia. Over his time serving in the White House, Biden has snapped at reporters on many occasions.
One such occasion was back in June when a reporter asked the president a question that was related to the conflict raging between Gaza and Israel. Journalist Josh Wingrove, contributor for Bloomberg, got a chance to his question it ended up rubbing him the wrong way.
“I wish you guys would play by the rules a little bit. I’m here to talk about a critical situation in Ukraine. You’re asking another subject. I’ll be happy to answer in detail later, but the bottom line is that we made an agreement [in regard to Gaza],” Biden said in response to Wingrove.
It’s time for Biden to retire and get the treatment he needs to deal with his cognitive issues.
