Ohio Republican Sen. JD Vance gave Kentucky Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear’s a massive pimp hand slap after the controversial comments he made during an appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” After he gave a speech at the Democratic National Convention, Beshear took to live television to give his thoughts on Vance’s abortion stance. Because we were all just waiting with bated breath to hear his expert opinion on whether or not pre-born kids should have the right to exist.
According to Trending Politics News, Vance’s comments were focused on how pregnancies resulting from rape should be handled. Beshear then said that Vance essentially equated pregnancy from rape as just an “inconvenience.” If the left ever accurately represented the statements from a Republican when it came to the topic of…well…pretty much any topic or issue…the space time continuum would probably grind to a halt and every particle of existence would explode.
“I mean, think about what some people have had to go through because of these laws. I mean, JD Vance calls pregnancy resulting from rape, inconvenient,” Beshear went on to say to during his appearance on MSNBC. “Inconvenience is traffic. I mean, it is… make HIM go through this!”
The comment quickly sparked a backlash from the Republican side, with Vance taking to X to voice his outrage. In a direct response, Vance wrote, “What the hell is this? Why is @AndyBeshearKY wishing that a member of my family would get raped?!? What a disgusting person.” The clash highlights the deeper rift in the ongoing national debate over abortion, a subject that remains deeply divisive within the U.S. political landscape. Gov. Beshear alluded to a 2021 remark by then-Senate candidate JD Vance, who suggested that pregnancies resulting from rape or incest shouldn’t be dismissed merely as “inconvenient.”
“My view on this has been very clear and I think the question betrays a certain presumption that is wrong,” Vance had stated back in 2021. “It’s not whether a woman should be forced to bring a child to term, it’s whether a child should be allowed to live, even though the circumstances of that child’s birth are somehow inconvenient or a problem to the society. The question really, to me, is about the baby.”
As you can probably already guess, folks on X had some rather strong opinions about Beshear’s comments. Many of them are entertaining, if I do say so myself. And I do.

Gov. Andy Beshear is a depraved, disgusting, disgraceful man.
He needs to apologize immediately.
His violent rhetoric is dangerous.
Shame on Beshear.

It’s simple. Science and God both say life starts at conception. Therefore, regardless of how the child is conceived, they are a living human being and have all the same God-given rights as everyone else. Abortion, under any circumstance, denies a person their rights and we simply cannot survive as a society if we allow that to happen.
Pregnancy as a result of rape is very rare. Rape is horrible. Obviously. In a just society rapists would get the death penalty. You see, that’s punishing the person responsible for the crime instead of a child who had no control over the situation.
Beshear needs Jesus.
