Former First Lady Melania Trump has now proven that it isn’t just her husband, our former president, and his highly successful children, who have managed to carve out a brand and following of their own after spending four years in the White House. A report from The Daily Mail has been released stating that Melania’s new memoir, “Melania,” is already obliterating records and has made a huge splash on pre-order lists ahead of its release, scheduled for October 1. Incredible, right?
A report from Trending Politics News revealed that the new book will include the story of how Melania met former President Donald Trump, though what the vast majority of readers seem to be looking forward to the most are the parts of the memoir that cover concerning the more intimate moments of her life story.
“Melania” is currently sitting at the No. 1 position on Amazon’s books category for “Political Leader Biographies” and is No. 2 overall in the larger “Biographies” category. Among all books, “Melania” is positioned at No. 5, an impressive feat for a book that has not yet been released.
During the promotion of “Melania,” the former first lady talked about how the process of looking back on her life well lived has been “filled with emotional highs and lows.” She told Fox News, “Writing my memoir has been an amazing journey. Each story shaped me into who I am today.” Blurbs previewing the book hints at an expansive review of growing up in Slovenia and chasing a career in modeling to travel the world and eventually attain her American citizenship. One chapter will include “pivotal moments that led her to the world of high fashion in Europe and New York, and the serendipitous meeting with Donald Trump, a chance encounter that forever changed the course of her life.”
Elsewhere, Melania promises to open up about “the joy of motherhood” and share “behind-the-scenes stories from her time in the White House, shedding light on her advocacy work and the causes close to her heart.” Former President Trump, her husband since 2005, is a vocal proponent of his wife’s penmanship. “If you love our former First Lady as much as me, and are ready for the Truth, buy her new book now!” he wrote in a promotional post on Truth Social. Early buyers will have access to special editions of “Melania,” including a signed $150 copy for collectors that runs 256 pages in full color and a half-colored one that will also be signed. Her memoir will be released by Skyhorse Publishing.
While Melania Trump was an important public figure during Trump’s administration from 2016-2020, after the family vacated the White House following the election in January 2021, she’s left an even deeper impression on our nation’s culture. Polls that were taken earlier in the year reveal she’s at the top of the list of former first ladies in terms of approval ratings, managing to shoot past current First Lady Jill Biden. Melania has taken a much quieter role in the former president’s election campaign this time around, as she places her focus on helping their son, Barron, pick out his college for the fall.
It’s clear from much of the press and the posts we’ve seen, Melania takes her role as Barron’s mother very seriously and has encouraged him to attend college in order to have a degree, while not stifling any sort of interest the young man might have about having a career of his own in politics. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Barron Trump become an important figure in the realm of civil service sometime down the road. We’ve seen many families have legacies in politics over the years.
It’ll be interesting to get a closer, more intimate look at Melania Trump’s life and whether or not she weighs in on controversies her husband has had to endure during his years outside of the Oval Office.
