Former CNN anchor Don Lemon just can’t seem to keep himself from saying stupid stuff that gets him into trouble. Lemon, who got booted from the network earlier this year, thought he was being snide and clever by posting a video on social media featuring him mocking a recent clip from former First Lady Melania Trump. In her clip, Melania called on law enforcement authorities to do more to get to the bottom of the attempted assassination of her husband back in July. Needless to say, users were not too thrilled with Lemon’s response.
The video was a reaction to Melania’s clip, showing his face as he watched the video. He then proceeded to refer to the video as being airbrushed, artificial, and inauthentic. All of which is rich when you realize Lemon is a gay man who totally supports the idea that two homosexuals can raise a child together without any long-lasting trauma and supports the delusion that a man can simply claim to be a woman and poof! like magic straight out of Narnia, he can become one.
“Why does it look like AI?!?” Lemon said in the video response, which has since been deleted, according to Trending Politics News.
“Why didn’t law enforcement officials arrest the shooter before the speech?” Melania went on to say in her video clip. A smaller window in Lemon’s video shows him shaking his head and rolling his eyes. He closes his eyes in frustration as she goes on. “There is definitely more to the story, and we need to uncover the truth.” Social media users declared Lemon “sick” for mocking the wife of former President Donald Trump who was calling on the FBI and members of Congress to determine how the Secret Service failed catastrophically to prevent the July 13th shooting at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Libs of TikTok was among the first to share Lemon’s reaction videos. “Don Lemon mocks Melania Trump describing her distress over the attempted ass*ss*nation of her husband. Sick.” Although the disgraced journalist has since removed the post from his TikTok account, Fox News noted it still appears to be on his YouTube account as of Friday morning. Other users called the controversial former anchor “attention-starved.”
“Hey @donlemon, so can you have empathy for a human without considering politics for once in your life?” conservative commentator Paul Szypula wrote. Stacy Washington, a conservative radio host, piled on. “We should all be distressed when someone tries to kill a former president and actually kills an innocent man in the crowd. Do better Don Lemon.” Ian Miles Cheong, a frequent conservative social media commentator, chimed in, “What a sick freak,” while Sky News host Rita Panahi wrote on X, “Really @donlemon you’re going to mock a woman distressed by an assassination attempt against her husband & the many unanswered questions that remain to this day. Classy.”
“There can’t be a more pathetic, attention-starved human being on the planet. What person in their right mind would ever mock a wife over an assassination attempt against her husband? Don Lemon, everyone!,” Fox News contributor Joe Concha replied as a response to Lemon.
Lemon is a prime example of poor journalism. During the Democratic National Convention, a troll tricked him into promoting a fake website that was allegedly designed to expose the oh so infamous and “evil” Project 2025. He’s desperately attempted to save face by promoting the snot out of himself following a falling out he had with X owner Elon Musk. The former CNN anchor stated in August he was shocked at how many Black voters think Vice President Kamala Harris is inauthentic.
You know, because Black people are not supposed to think for themselves but are to follow the Democratic Party script for them, otherwise they aren’t black enough. What a disaster this guy is.
