Matt Towery, a long-time polling analyst, explained on Monday during an appearance on Fox News that Democrats have a whole lot to worry about as there is a rise in support for former President Donald Trump with voters in critical swing states. Of course, this isn’t worrying for conservatives who see this as the inevitable outcome of a failed administration that had four years to improve the state of the nation and failed spectacularly. In fact, the dynamic duo of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris somehow managed to make things significantly worse.
Towery, who appeared on “The Ingraham Angle” said he has access to recent polling information that is about to be released publicly that shows a rather significant increase in favor for Trump, not just in the usual places around the country, but in almost every single battleground state, including Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.
“I’ve looked at polling that I’ve been privy to, and I’ll probably be public in the next few days. Trump is trending up in almost every single battleground state, almost every one,” Towery said during the interview with Laura Ingraham when she asked why Michigan Democratic Rep. Elissa Slotkin was so worried about the polling. “And when you ask the question, how are your neighbors going to vote? You have very shy Trump voters sometimes. Those numbers explode, and I’ve not seen this in ages. And you know me, I’m usually Mr. Doom and Gloom for the Republicans and Trump.”

While Towery is typically more pessimistic about Republican prospects, his current observations indicate a shift in public sentiment that spans beyond traditional strongholds.
“I am seeing a true shift in public sentiment, not just in Michigan and in Pennsylvania. I’m seeing it in Nevada, as a matter of fact, there’s been a turnaround there. The only problem child right now is Georgia, and that’s because the Republicans, you have two groups, traditionalist Republicans who go way back,” he added. “They’re not feeling the groove with Trump right now. It’s the more new-come Republicans and those who live in the exurbs and down in those areas that were hit by this storm.”
Towery also touched on the recent severe storm that has wreaked havoc across the Southeast, particularly affecting Republican-dominated areas. “That storm affected Republican areas, and I’m just saying, demographically, all the way up, basically majority Republican other than Asheville. So what effect that’s gonna have on turnout? I have no earthly idea,” Towery added.
Experts suggest that Nevada’s shift toward Trump could significantly impact Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign, despite the state’s modest six electoral votes. The unique economic and demographic factors in the swing state, which has consistently voted Democratic since 2008, might now tilt the balance in this tight race.
A poll produced by The New York Times and Siena College has revealed that the race between Trump and Harris in critical battleground states like Michigan and Wisconsin is extremely close. In the state of Michigan, Harris is only ahead of Trump by one percentage point, 48 percent to 47 percent, while in Wisconsin her lead is a little higher at 49 percent to 47 percent.
