If I didn’t know any better, I’d swear up and down that President Joe Biden is purposefully trying to sink Vice President Kamala Harris’ chances of becoming the next commander-in-chief. As Samantha Chang of The Western Journal points out, there’s a history of passive-aggressive behavior and comments from him that has seemingly dragged Harris down. The latest of these is the remark Biden made about Trump voters being “garbage.”
Before you think I’ve lost my marbles like Toodles in the 90s classic, “Hook,” I’m not alone in wondering about this. In fact, former President Donald Trump’s running mate, Ohio Republican Sen. JD Vance recently conducted an interview with immensely popular podcast host Joe Rogan where he told him that he’s thoroughly convinced Biden wants Harris to fail.
During a segment discussing Joe Biden’s ever wayward son, Hunter Biden, Vance wisecracked, “I might bet $20 on his dad voting for Donald Trump for president, especially last night after the ‘garbage’ comment.”
As a reminder, Biden trashed all Trump supporters as “garbage” shortly after a roast comic at a MAGA rally joked that Puerto Rico was a “floating island of garbage.” Biden’s slur ignited volcanic backlash, overshadowing the fallout from the Puerto Rico diss. The White House has since spent considerable effort trying to distance Harris from Biden’s catastrophic flub, which maligned half the nation just days before the election.
“That guy is trying to help Donald Trump,” Vance shared during the program. “I think we’re gonna win, but after we win, I’m going to be convinced that Joe Biden was trying to help us the whole time. He put on the MAGA hat.”
JD Vance remarking to Joe Rogan that Joe Biden hates Kamala Harris, and wants Trump to win:

Vance was making a reference to a rather stunning incident that took place on Sept. 11 when the president, rather gleefully I might add, popped a MAGA hat on his head while paying a visit to a firehouse located in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, which is a must-win for either of the two major nominees. Rogan agreed with Vance, stating how mind-blowing that situation was and how it revealed the true feelings Biden has about being pushed out of the race by Harris and other Democrats.
“The MAGA hat [incident] was crazy,” Rogan recalled. “When he put on the MAGA hat in front of those guys and they all cheered and he insisted on keeping the hat, he took it with him. I think he’s very, very resentful that he got ousted in what was essentially a coup.”

The president not only sported the hat, but he then smiled while posing for photographs wearing the hat which has become an iconic symbol representing the Trump movement.

“Imagine the seething rage and resentment he feels after the Democrats cavalierly threw him out and replaced him with Harris, whose claim to national fame before he chose her as VP was being a one-term, junior senator,” Chang wrote in her article. “Biden has been a politician for 52 years, culminating in the presidency. To be tossed aside just four months before the election — after he repeatedly insisted he would run again — was an act of abject degradation.”
One thing’s for sure. Harris never earned her place as the Democratic nominee. She stole it using underhanded tactics, which is pretty much a summary of how she’s built her entire career, though the vast majority of it was through less than savory means that we shall avoid discussing at the present moment.
