Popular independent journalist, Tucker Carlson, just put out a video interview where he recalls an incident in which he claims he was assaulted by a demon while he was asleep in his bed. He revealed during the conversation that the incident led to him buying a Bible and reading it repeatedly. There is more to life than meets the eye, ladies and gentlemen, and I’m not talking about Autobots and Decepticons. Our world is not just material, but immaterial. Things are happening in different dimensions, spiritual ones, that you and I cannot see. However, these events are shaping our world every day.
“It was a transformative experience,” the renowned podcast host said, according to LifeSiteNews.
“I got attacked while I was asleep with my wife and four dogs in the bed … and mauled. Physically mauled by a demon,” Carlson went on to state during the interview, “or by something unseen that left claw marks on my sides.”
In an absolutely creepy revelation, Carlson said that those marks are still on his side, almost a year-and-a-half after the incident. Yeah, that’s pretty spooky.
“I woke up. I couldn’t breathe. I thought I was going to suffocate,” he explained to the podcast host. “I had these terrible pains on my rib cage and on my shoulder.”
Uncertain about what had just happened, Carlson walked into the bathroom, flicked on the light, and saw that he had “four claw marks on either side, underneath my arms and on my left shoulder. And they were bleeding.”
“I’m not from a world where things like that happen. I never heard of anything like that happening before,” the journalist then emphasized, but “I knew it was spiritual immediately.”
“I’m not from a faith tradition that talks about things like that or even acknowledges their existence,” Carlson remarked. “I’ve never heard anybody say anything like that in my whole life.”
“The next morning, I woke up and thought, ‘That was the weirdest dream I’ve ever had.’ And then I saw blood on my sheets and realized that was not a dream at all,'” Carlson said.
Carlson said that afterward, he was “seized with this very intense desire to read the Bible, which I then started without any study aids or anything.” “So, I spent a year and a half reading it and then I started re-reading it and it was just a transformative experience for me.” “No one has to believe me. I don’t care,” Carlson said. “But that happened to me.”
Carlson experienced what many believers and non-believers refer to as a sort of night terror or more commonly sleep paralysis. Those who have had such an experience often talk about seeing a demonic looking entity in the room or even interacting with them while they are helpless and unable to do anything to defend themselves. Of course, some of these encounters are nothing more than psychological problems.
However, many are also demonic in origin, which is likely what was happening to Carlson. God could have allowed such an attack to happen to drive Tucker deeper into the Bible and thus bring him closer to Him. Regardless, it’s a reminder that we are not just physical beings, but also spiritual ones and there is a cosmic war being waged for our souls.
